How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I purchased a new 4runner in 2005 right here in the Bahamas. The car came directly from Japan to the dealer. My cost was $44,000. I drove a Ford Explorer on a dealer's lot on the same day. Nice soft ride, but even at $39,000 would have been a mistake to buy over Toyota.

Now 150,000 miles - same tranny and engine V6 runs great still. Burns no oil. No HG issues. No rust. Paint shines like when new. No rust sneaking out on the body anywhere. No rust on any door jams. Change the oil every 5000 miles.

OEM starter failed at 4 years. Aftermarket new starter ($126) failed after 4 years. Same for the next AM starter.

Same OEM WP and radiator and thermostat. Exhaust system still OEM.

Owner maintained. Transmission D/F by dealer at 100,000 miles. They drained 5 quarts and replaced filter.

Try Olympia. Foothills in Mount Vernon is also not bad sometimes and tax is lower at both dealers

You guys are getting great deals. I’m looking at trading my 2016 lariat fx4 with 20k miles on a trd premium. Sticker is 45,200 wondering what to offer? I have always wanted to buy a 4 runner but prices are all high in my area East Texas.

Got my 2020 Off Road from Roger Mehr at Cedar Park north of Austin. He hooked us up! And delivered it to us. Never went to a dealer(didn’t need to test drive since we previously owned a 2016 Trail)
From the deal we made I figure you could get 45 down to about 40k

Toyota Kearney Mesa. They also had something like 2K of dealer added options (window tint, alarm, etc) on another sticker next to the main window sticker, which i didn't mention above. I was like "what's this crap?....this isn't reflected in your online price". I said, I don't want this stuff. He went and talked to the mgr, and they removed them from the cost. So I guess I got them for free. Not like they were going to remove window tint.

So far I have spent a day emailing back and forth with few dealerships. Pretty frustrating experience I would say.

Trying for 2020 ORP in Super White with MSRP of 43.250 (no extra options)

So far got $500 off, $1100 off and $2200 off offers and some of sales people almost called me insane for asking 5-6k off MSRP.

Pretty frustrated so far. Toyota of Bellevue really pissed me off with their best offer of $500 when I spoke to them on the phone. Wow.... :argue:

Will try Toyota of Olympia next and go out little more farther. Any other suggestions. I am ok with driving up to Oregon if needed.

It is from an AZ dealer. I am driving over to get it. The San Diego Dealers I called wanted at least $5k over MSRP, as did the Riverside Dealer.

I think it is worth the drive.
