How the heck do you get the map light bulbs out???

I removed the overhead console. Easiest for me.

I wrapped the bulb in double sided tape, which allowed me to get a grip on it with needle nose pliars. The tape also prevented the bulb from shattering.

or say screw it after trying for 30 mins and shatter the bulb anyway. was much easier after that.

I tried electrical tape, forceps, tweezers... No luck.
I dont really want to take out the console for lights... But, here goes nothing
