Sorry I meant I’m looking for the paper air filter
It's the standard air filter. Same as the one from the original air box.

Since the photos on this original thread are not working, I also used the following YouTube video as a reference for the install and for the additional parts that you will need.

I’ve flipped through the thread and I’m not sure I saw the answer, but I apologize if it’s there:
Do you get the HP TheWrath proved and the mpg gains with the stock paper filter? Or only the TRD filter?
better particle filtration w/ paper stock
better airflow and reuseability with oiled filter.
I choose to stay w/ stock paper filter.
Did the install this afternoon. Kinda sounds like a V8 at WOT now hehe

My TRD CAI upper filter box wasn't staying closed properly. The original box had three or four clips, one on each side/corner. The TRD CAI has two clips, and on one face, nearest the fender, it uses two male/female protrusion. The female side of this is on the upper half of the box. I took a look at it, and the plastic edge had been 'pushed over' such that the male wouldn't engage and seat. A utility blade made quick work of the edge and it now engages properly ensuring dirty air won't leak by the filter. The air intake was clean, so no concerns about excess dirt/oil getting past the reusable filter.
Your TRD intake "kit" should have come with new clamshell clips that replaced the OEM clamshell clips that held the top and bottom halves of your air intake box together.
The new ones that come with the TRD kit should have solved your problem without you having to resort to modifying anything.
