Ive always wondered what the upside of a bracket lift is like the one you have.
Also, why leaf springs? Seems like more chance of trail damage because with those hanging down...:nono:
I could be completely dumb...
The biggest upside of the bracket is the cost compared to a SAS, but essentially it drops the suspension down allowing for a much larger coil (lift) and also allowing a larger flex relative to the size of the coil.
The leafs do hang down, its defiantly a concern in particular on the inside where the bilsteins are welded on. I spent sime time at a sheet metal shop today discussing options for custom made plates for down under and that is basically the one thing I will be unable to cover.
On a plus side my sliders (step for the wife) have arrived, they are all sized up and almost ready to weld on, just waiting for paint to dry. I will get some pics up once I get them on.
