HVAC Noise / '12 4R

Hey All,

For the life of me I cannot figure out what might be causing this sound. Fan speed or fan being off has no effect. The sound is almost constant now. Directional changes to airflow also have no effect on this sound.

Any thoughts?

Yessir. It is new and clean!

There is a cooling fan for the electronics inside the dash. Sounds like that. There is a thread on here about it that I’m too lazy to find right now. It is the same type of 60mm fan you would find in a desktop PC.

Ok, noise has been isolated. It is the small fan on the cd/fm radio. I would have never guessed prior to this post.
