HVAC Servo question

Hi, can anyone tell me what the servo in the photo does (assuming it is a servo)? I isolated a buzzing sound to this part, and I can't figure out its function. It sits just below the feet/face/defrost servo. I unplugged it, but can't tell that anything has changed (other than the noise going away).

2004 Limited with dual zone

Thanks.

Edit: I should have mentioned it's on the passenger side, left of the blower motor assembly.

Edit #2: I found this thread, questions answered. DIY: Replace Servo Sub-Assy

Going from memory based on replacing my evaporator core, but I'm pretty certain you're correct - servo.

Not sure but try plugging it back in and see if turning the recirculating switch off and on affects the buzzing.
