It was announced, but availability of the 4-cyl will be a few months after the V6, around January 2010.
They did the same thing with the Venza -- the V6 model was released first with the 4-cyl a few months later. They didn't show the 4-cyl model on toyota.com until right before the on-sale date of that model.
