I officially hate HID's

what the hell!? that some serious lighting there. that's stadium lighting! i like it though.

Too much, IMO. Did you see how washed out and harsh that lighting was? At speed, he'd be missing details in a blur of white. For that setup to be useful, he needs to dial it back a couple thousand lumens and change a bunch of those spots to flood/fill lighting.

yes i did. toned down a bit would work. i wouldn't mind something like that for driving here in florida.

This is when some awesome LED reverse lights would come in handy. Or, one of those stupid looking searchlights that you control from inside the cab? I hate those things personally. Just carry a surefire light, and let down the back glass then turn around and shine it directly at their face. If anyone is familiar with the term "green beam dazzler":lasercannon:...

I'm only a little vindictive.

I'm not trying to defend the HID in standard halogen housings argument cus I know they're not the best, however, I will say that higher end HID kits tend to produce better light which in turn produces less glare. I'm not gonna say I still don't blind cars bc I do, especially when pulling up behind a small car at a red light. But, I think with the higher end kit I have and aiming my headlights down a little it doesn't aggravate on coming traffic as much. I couldn't tell you the last time I got flashed. Now the dark blue(10k), purple and pink hid's are ridiculous and the people with those should be shot. I can't stand those.

This is why I installed "backup lights"! Not for backing up, for flashing the tailgaters and highbeamers/people who don't know how to properly install lights.

Whenever people flash me after I flash them, then I turn the sun on and they either get the message or go off the road.

I do the same. They can eat my 1600 watts.
