You have to use that glass protectant stuff that comes in the meguiars kit pretty regularly otherwise the haze and discoloring WILL come back.

got this delivered today


i layed a bead of silicone on each joining bar
and on each screw hole to hopefully eliminate or at
least minimize rust.

i am going to have some plates welded on the front bars
to mount my 30" hanma lightbar to.

heres a pic showing how it may look mounted.

LED lightbar and ROLA rack install

i took my rola rack to my friends house and we:
measured up ligthbar fitment
grinded paint off welding areas
cleaned with brake cleaner
welded mounting plates
wire brush to clean welds
flat black paint/rust prevention to match rola rack

heres the finished look( i did add a couple more coats in
case anyone notices it needed more paint)





mounted the lightbar i bought from the groupbuy from [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION]





mounted the rola roof rack





wired everything up(sorry no pics)
only thing i really did different from others ive seen,
i used a quick disconect right under the drivers side
stock roof rack mount cover so that if i ever need to remove
rack and lightbar for long drives or anything, it will be easy to remove.

heres the contura rocker switch i bought (@edmundGTP referred me
to a local shop that had them (Sierra Expeditions, Mesa, AZ)


and a final shot with the lights on

Decided I liked them better without the caps
plastidipped the wheel hubs or whatever it's called, to match the wheels.
Trimmed fender, removed mud flaps, moved fender liner forward

And bilstein 5100s set at 2.5 in front
