this has been my current miles per TANK mileage i've been getting...

checked my tire pressure and every tire was all over the place...

does anyone have any recommendations for tire pressure on IROK's?

i filled all tires up to 35 psi, but I've read people running them around 28..

Our trucks fuel gauges are all over the place. How much did you put in? My gas light comes on empty then I go fill 13 gal in it. So I'm not really empty.

i usually don't fill up until i have reached complete 0... like sometimes i can pump over 17 gallons in...

my gauge is usually below the empty and the gas light has been on for 30 miles...

i have been doing this for a while now and I'm use to getting 260 miles/tank...

i suppose my MPG is under 15... probably 14...

but I don't know how to tell my scan gauge II to so AVERAGE MPG's....

I can't figure this out either, and it sucks. I really wish it did that. I like that the ultragauge does it, but I don't like the way the ultragauge looks. I've been getting about the same MPG as you here as of late. I'm planning to replace O2 sensors here in the next week and see if that helps. I'm still on the original ones with 180k miles so...

Good news is gas it like $1.65 here in Alabama!

I think the "sport hood" is something all 4runner owners hope to have if their vehicle didn't come with one.

With that said, I bought an aftermarket hood, just primed, then I found this.

Because it was used: it has several imperfections and with that said:

Does anyone have any advice when trying to remove scratches and little imperfections in the paint????????

I guess your typical clay bar, compound, Polish and wax is the only thing you can do?

I guess your typical clay bar, compound, Polish and wax is the only thing you can do?

I like Ultimate Compound and Scratch X. That or just cover it in dirt and you can't see them.

I just want an adjustable orbiter but I know there is a lot to know about detailing and techniques I simply do not have under my belt... So does that mean I just drop $300 on a professional job?...

There is a company local to me who makes excellent professional detailing supplies. Their orbital was the first and only one I've ever used. Maybe give them a call and consider ordering one?

Pretty sure I'll have to go aftermarket. How did you find your OEM one? Was there a site you went to or just a bunch of legwork/calling? I've been itching to get one ever since my dad got his '06 Sport with one.

Haha my hood has scratches as well, but I forgot about them for the 4 months I didn't wash mine. She got a bath yesterday though so she's looking pretty slick right now.

Shouldn't cost $300 for just a buff. I'd say closer to $50. $300 is getting into a full on paint job range. Could always get the buffer and practice on your old hood.

Floor Mat Eyelet Mod

I have been cruising around for over a year now with my mats flipped. i prefer them this way because the rubber underside is a good debris catcher. and its easy to shake off...

i switched the passenger with the driver's side mat once flipped to get a better fit. the issue i was having is that the mat would keep slipping and moving around.

i snagged an extra floor hook from a 4runner at a junkyard to install in the passenger side carpet and i got some 10mm eyelets to install in the floor mat itself for the drivers side.

the drivers side mat that is now flipped over is now on the passenger side and already had an eyelet in it for the drivers side hook to go into.

i also installed my extra air intake box i did the deck plate mod to.
