I'm getting a 6 through work and will be interested to see how I like it. I usually keep a phone for 2-4 years and have had my 4 for the last 2, but it's slowly dieing and my work is covering the bill for the new phone. Went against the 6 plus because I still want it to fit in my pocket and I have no need for a giant phone. Hopefully I will get it in the next couple of weeks.

Regardless of what you get, it will fit in your pocket fine unless you're 8 years old or 4ft tall. My note 4 fits just fine in my pocket. 5'11" 175lbs. The Note 4 is smaller than the iphone + even though it has a larger screen though .

paid me $325 for my 1 1/2 year old 4S in February, provided a prepaid mailer. Sent me a new 5S for $300 + tax, waived activation fee, free 2 day shipping. Had to re-up for another 2 years. Fine, wasn't planning on leaving.

Unless there's some stunning new technology going into the 6 versus the 5, I'll probably stick with the 5. It looks way too big for me: back in the day, I ditched the Blackberry because talking on it was like holding a slice of bread up to my ear. I think I would get the same way with the Iphone 6.

Not to mention that when you add a waterproof case, it'll be even bigger. A kid at BestBuy was helping me re: some camera equipment and had an IPhone 6 in what looked to be an Otterbox. Looked like he was trying to talk into an Ipad.

got mine on launch day and absolutely love it. i have 2 phones, iPhone through work, and its no comparison. apple is about 2 years or more behind the curve literally and i work on apple products all day where i work. personally though i have android devices and a custom built pc, only touch apple at work.

For you Note 4 owners, it is a great phone, but will be obsolete within next few month. If you are within return period, then i suggest that you return it. TRUST ME.

Why? Google: ARMv8. Lollipop (5.0) is coming to Note 4 probably Jan or Feb 2015?? S5 is getting 5.0 in December...it always take a few months for Samsung to get to Note series.

If you have the INTERNATIONAL version, then you're in better shape....

You Android folks need to wait for a phone with AT LEAST Snapdragon 810 chip in it. Otherwise, you will find a crappy user experience within 6 months (or less)...forget about keeping it for 2 yrs!

I have to disagree...and no, Apple is not 2 yrs behind...technically speaking, it is Android that is lagging.

Are you saying once 5.0 comes out for the note it will run slowly? If so wouldn't the Nexus 6, which has the same chipset as the Note 4 and running 5.0, run slowly?

Me too. I have the 5 and the wife the 5S. 6 Plus is too big, regular 6 I'll be upgrading in about 15 days (eligible). Seems like the 6 screen size is perfect for me.

I don't give a goat's testicle about specs. It's a good phone that doesn't crash on me. Good enough.
