IPhone Users: OBD2 app with Transmission temps.

Hi there,
I have a 2015 Toyota highlander that I'm trying to get to read the automatic transmission temperature. I've bought the ELM327 with OBDFusion app. I can get the other readings to show on my phone, except AT temp.
The problem is when I try to create the personal PID with the suggested information on this thread, when I press test at the bottom of the menu, I get the message no data recveived.
Even if I add display of that personal PID, it still gives me a 0 value.
The only difference I can see from this site is that you have the degree symbol in front of F. I can't seem to add the degree symbol with my phone.

Here is what I have :
Name : Pid
Description : Pid
Category : Engine
Fabricant / manufacturer : Generic
Metric units : C
English units : F
Min value : 100
Max value : 250
Metric to English scale factor : 1
Metric to English offset : 0
Module Header : ALL
OBD Mode : 01
PID Number : b4
Priority : Medium
Equation A*(9/5)-40

Any help would be great.
Thanks

None of the PIDs, etc. will match between the two vehicles, so we won't be able to help you.

Anyone able to get this working on a 2021 4runner, cause I can't and have tried everything... I even tried to purchase the Toyota, Lexus, Scion enhanced diagnostics package and 2021 isn't available yet.

Just installed a transmission cooler for pulling our travel trailer and would love to see how it handles it.

Here is a far as I got. I'm using OBD Fusion with the Veepeak Mini OBD II scanner. The Trans temp gauge is there but I don't get a reading except for 0deg. All the other Dasboard gauges work. I have a 2014 4Runner . Any suggestions anyone?

I think you and I are at the same point. Did you ever get your gauge working? My reply is the previous one to this. Thanks

For lack of better words... Ask in the 5th gen section. The newest 3rd gen is 2002.

Just got this to work on iOS 14.8 on my '02

Bought a Veepeak from Amazon and followed OP's instructions. However, instead of wifi, I used the built-in bluetooth functionality.

Worked - got the transmission temperature to read fine
