Ironman 4x4...

I have only seen one person in the 5th gen section running the full ironman set-up that can be had at Metaltech for $510. Anyone else with some knowledge/experience of their products?

For $108 an axle, I am looking at ditching the daystar rear spacer and replacing all 4 coils with these instead of some of the more expensive options like the OME and/or Toytech/Eibach. I already have the Bilstein 5100....so some new coils would be a nice addition to upgrade me to a more functional lift. Plus the orange coils would be a nice touch to my "Hokie assault vehicle" as I am becoming known as around town.

Your thoughts?

This from the ToyTec site concerning 5100's:

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH SPACERS OR LIFT COILS UNLESS LOWEST (STOCK) SETTING IS USED.

The Ironman is rated 2" so you'll lose some height. If you want to stay at ~3" up front you'd probably be better off spending the extra $$ on the OME springs. Keep the rear spacers you have for now, nothing wrong with that set-up, then down the road you can update the rears if you want.

I could only find one other 5th gen 4runner with the set-up that commented on it....SEE ABOVE LINK. I did some searching on other forums and came to this conclusion.....as is with everything else, you pay for what you get. There are plenty out there who like the ironman products, but I feel like I read much more negative comments....mainly about longevity.
