Is it worth it to get a CAI

If you really want cheap power, lose weight. For every 8 lbs you shave off your truck (or you) you typically free up 1 hp. Get some light weight rims and tires and not only will your mpg increase but so will your acceleration and braking power because of reduction in rotational mass. I know this isn't practical for an off road vehicle but if your 4R is a paved road only warrior it's something to consider.

This is great advice, and it's plenty practical for a wheeling truck. One of the reasons I chose 255/85r16s and 3rd gen alloys is for weight savings over a regular 33" on 15" steelies.

Are the offsets the same? I will have to keep my eyes open for a set of those.

I "think" they have a +15mm more offset than stock.
These came on the truck when I bought it so not something that I researched at all.
They bolt right on though and work perfect with 255/75/17 tires
