Jaos Challenger light question...

I am trying to wire up my H3 lights and as everyone knows, everything's in Japanese. Does anyone know where I tap that yellow 2amp line. I saw from a post from bonedoctor that he tapped a headlight red/yellow wire, but my line is not long enough to get there. Any ideas about where it should or could go? Perhaps somewhere in the fuse box? Thanks.

if its a power wire just add a inline fuse and hook it up to the battery

Bonedoctor here, I remember having to do a trial and error to get it to work because, as you say, the instructions are in Japanese and you've only the diagram to go on. Off the top of my head, I remember using that little side splicer thing supplied with the wiring kit to tap into the wires of my left front headlight. I tried one of them first (don't remember the color combo, but it's probably in my original post) and it didn't work, so tapped into the other one (red with yellow tracer?) and it worked. The wiring loom for my vehicle came around the left side of the grill, behind the left front headlight, around the battery and up to about the level of the fuse box on the left fender well. I mounted the little black box on top of the fuse box lid next to the fender lip and plugged it into the loom. There was a little ground wire that dropped out of sight and I couldn't figure out why the lights wouldn't work until I noticed that ground wire and connected it, so watch out for that. I think I might have mentioned it in the original post.

I suppose that if your wire is too short, make an extension using two of those side splicers like pictured below (one to connect and extension and the other to connect the extension into the headlight circuit), but I'm pretty sure it has to be spiced into the headlight circuit as I described (so that the lights can't come on without the headlight circuit being "on" and also so that they can't be left on by accident when the headlights are turned off, thus running down the battery). Hope this helps.

Thanks bonedoctor. I did end up making an extention to the wire, and wiring it up as you did in your original post, to the low beam r/y wire. But then the low beams need to be on in order for the Jaos to work. Since I have HID's, I will probably only use these at dusk, or with the driving lights, so I decided to redo it and tap into the driving lights; which is the green wire in case anyone cares. I guess trial and error works after all. Now I can turn them when the driving lights are on, or if I want them with the low beams as well, that works to because driving lights are always on. I did use those t-taps; I love those things, used them for years. Thanks to everyone's help.
