Hey guys,
First time 4Runner owner here and I really enjoy this forum in the short time I've been lurking and asking advice.

My new 4R is a daily driver, but I plan on some minor mods, which I'm going to try and document here. Thanks to all the members here who have shared their mods and experience, as it is incredibly helpful for a new member such as myself. Hopefully I can pay it forward with my upcoming efforts.

Here's my 2015 TEP at the range the day after I picked her up.

I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with for the ham install. I'm looking at getting the same radio and debating how to remote mount it.

So I finally got off my butt and ordered the Icon Suspension parts for my TEP. Sounds like I'll have a few weeks before I see them on the garage floor here for installation.

Pretty much went with everything in my build list, but also added a set of Metal Tech Sliders instead of the BudBuilts. Once I saw them, I preferred their look over the BudBuilts and impulsively added them to the order with the Icon parts.

I just finished running the antenna cabling for my Kenwood TM-71A (temporary installation) and I'm going to take some pictures of the install this Saturday when I can get some good light in my garage in the AM for the pictures.

The Antenna is mounted on a lip mount on the rear hatch and the brain unit is under the drivers seat. I'm currently using a passenger seat bolt mount bendable tube pedestal for the head unit, but I'm nor thrilled with it as it tends so vibrate a bit.

Jim, great build so far! I'm curious to see how you mounted your Kenwood TM-71 as I'm contemplating that model or the ICOM ID-880H. Man, all these awesome new builds are making it that much harder to have to wait to start mine!! Sub'd

Nice rig.... what made you decide to go stage 6?

I'm a former amateur Formula Car driver and the idea of having the ability to adjust and rebuild my shocks appeals to me. I really love the process of dialing in a vehicle and since I spend about 3-5 hours a day in my vehicles, it's just a guilty pleasure to have some high end ride control.

I'm only anticipating doing about a 2" lift as this truck is an every day driver for me, but changing out the upper and lower arms in the rear gives me the opportunity to do more in the future (adjust pinion angle, etc), should I decide to go to 3" someday, should getting in and out of parking garages become less important.
