just got my first T4R 2012 trail

Greetings.
I have been on ih8mud for years and had 1996 LX450 and 2001 Landcruiser. I recently bought 2012 magnetic gray T4R Trail (no mods yet) and I am very pleased with it but have a few questions.

The steering seems a little twitchy (overly sensitive to inputs) compared to my LC and the steerings seems to bind/rub on full turns at low speeds in 4H. The tires are 265/70/17 Hankook winter so should not be rubbing. So I am thinking maybe this binding is a function of 4wheel drive operation since I don't feel the binding when in 2H.
Any comment or advice?

Reading the threads, I see references to setting caster at 4 degrees. Is that the standard setting? That made me think that maybe my caster is off causing the twitchy steering feel. Comments please.

Lastly I have read about the 1.25" wheel spacer adapter. I think it is only to make space for wider tires and not for handling or steering stability when standard wheels/tires are used. Is that correct?
I plan on another 25k miles on my tires but would add the spacers if it improves the steering/handling. Comments/Advice please.

My new 2015 trail has pretty sensitive steering too. I think it is a trait of the factory alignment specs from the 2 new ones I have driven. I would imagine the factory alignment would be pretty close to the same between 2010 - 2015.

As far as binding in 4H, that is definitely a product of a locked center diff compared to the torsen type center diff u are used too in your previous vehicles that were full time 4wd. Just dont drive around in 4WD on high traction surfaces and you should be fine.
