It must suck to wake up on the wrong side of the bed every damn day.
Well I was driving from ct today to nj and I have 5th gen 4runners come right by me and it ruined my self control. Can you understand?

FWIW - just to add a bit to what's already been said - if you have good credit you can often now just take a low interest personal loan. These are basically car loans without collateral. I've seen them generally around 2 - 2.5% for people with very good credit. In many ways for private purchase this is an easier way to go.
Good luck.
It was for landcruiser, not you bud
My credits deemed as excellent. So yeah that isn't the problem. Worried about a hefty dp though. A dealer around me offered me 4500 for my 02 4runner(2wd) with 186k mikes. That's above KBB so it was a great offer to be honest. Seeing as the interior and exterior were crap from the previous owners.
Apologies I think that sarcasm flew right over my head lol. I've been googling about t4rs since 12am.
Those type of loans are just a dollar amount. They don't care what you do with it, so you don't need any down payment. But... you will pay higher monthly payments if you borrow more. Just throwing that out as something to consider.
I jut cosigned for my girlfriend.
Oh shit, son.
Yea. But she was rear ended by a dodge ram that hit her going 40. She only got 4k for her pos jeep. Which I was also fixing for the past two months... She needed a car. Family has shit credit. -Shrugs- someone's gotta try and be a good person
There are many members here that live in NJ. You might want to put out a plea for somebody with a Trail to take an hour out of their day to take you for a ride. I would do that for a Colorado member.
In Colorado you will be very hard pressed to find a dealer that will allow you to test drive a Trail as most are sold before they even get to the lot.
Good man. My wife and I have cosigned for several young people over the years for the same reason. We make sure we can afford to pay it off if they default. Good for you.
Yeah thanks brother. I may be 22 but I'm responsible and my parents raised me to be a good person. Plus I can pay it off in 8 months if it did get defaulted on me. But now she's actually trying to pay it off sooner wince she knows I want a new 4runner. Grandmother taught me to pay it forward. So who knows maybe my perfect 4runner will land in my lap one day, if only it was free...
