Thank you. It's probably not for everyone but that's fine with me because it's for my truck not theirs. I just wanted it simple and to make my departure angle a little better. Thanks for the compliments. It's nice to hear it from another fabricator. It will get a better test when I go wheeling tomorrow!

I just used a 1/2" grade 8 bolt and nut. I made sure the bumper is holding all the weight and not the bolt itself. The bolt is only there to keep the swing out secured. I wanted to keep it simple.

Went wheeling today. Wheeled Walker Valley again. Ran Timber Tamer, EZ Valley Connector Ron's Run and Humps and Bumps. Lots of carnage for the Jeeps. None for this guy. Casualties: Rear driveline, leaf spring x2, starter, Hydro Assist hose and a tie rod. Not very many good pictures.
Me in the back. Lots of people running PBRs.
Gave my camera to one of the passengers to take some pictures. Got a play by play on an Endo Roll over.
You can see the tire drop out. This is were he start to go over.
Roll cage needs some love now.

Rear bumper and tire carrier looks good, just need some snow on it!
Do you happen to have a link to the lock open T-handle?
I want to snow wheel so bad. It's almost ridiculous.

Nothing big going on lately. Got a new battery. I went with an Optima Yellow Top. The old battery was old and tired. I've been stealing my battery out of the '02 to go wheeling. Yeah, it's a pain in the ass but I don't mind that. I just didn't want to kill the '02's battery from winching so often.
I've been doing research on batteries for a while. Optima used to be the king in batteries and then the quality took a dive. I was told that they were outsourcing crappy internal parts for a while and they stopped it and fixed the problem and now the quality is as good as ever. I decided to give it a try. Only time will tell.
For now the factory battery retainer will work. I bent it a little so it holds it nice and snug.

Been beatin' on the Runner lately. Went wheeling yesterday at Walker with a couple guys with 40s and an 80 series. Everyone broke something or got body damage. I managed no body damage but ripped off my antenna and a few scratches.
PBRs This Far:
I can't wait to test these tire in the snow but I can speak for everything else. They are the shit. Wet rock. Dry rock. Mud. Dirt. Gravel. All superb. At this point I probably won't ever put anything other tire on my wheelin' rig.
I found that when I stuff the rear driver's tire and drop the passenger rear tire the U-joint rubs on my skid plate. Have to fix that.
I must of hit something just right yesterday. The rear diff is leaking now. I already have it sitting on my bench in the shop.
A couple weeks ago I mashed my exhaust. I cut it off behind the muffler and rerouted it with new pipe to dump right above the cross member. It had a sad face.

Went on the search for my winter cocaine today. Drove all damn day to try to find it. Finally found it at 5100' on the north side of HWY 542. Unfortunately all the skiers, snowboarders, and snow shoers also found it. Pulled out a Subaru and a 3rd Gen Toyota Pick up. There was snow on the ground at 4000' and small patches at 3000'.
I took the tires down to about 7 PSI. I tried to keep it higher so I could benefit from the clearance. The whole combination of the new setup is the cat's meow. This thing is a tank. This winter is going to be awesome.

Hell yeah, glad you were able to find some snow!
I'm looking forward to more pictures as winter sets in (and maybe some video?), you PNW guys have EPIC snow wheeling! I just wish I lived closer.
I did get some video footage. Nothing great. Just messin' around. camera is aim a little low. I can't wait to get into some deeper snow. Couple feet here. I haven't figured out what to use to edit videos and add music and all that crap yet. Everyone wants money and I don't want to give it up.
Only cut out me turn the camera on and off. It was my free.99 camera with the poor man's GoPro mount.
