Landcruiser bumpstops?

I'm doing the landcruiser rear suspension swap but can't find any info on what bumpstops to use. I'm getting the 9 wrap coils w/ Toyota landcruiser shocks. I'd like to just get used LC bumpstops from cruiserparts.net at $15 each and don't really wanna pay the $130 from Sonoran Steel, but haven't found anything on here as to which ones I have to use. I assume the LC ones will work, but I'm looking for some feedback before I order them. Thanks guys!

They need to be extended quite a bit and though I have no idea what LC bump stops look like I doubt the will work without building a spacer of sorts. For the SS set you aren't just getting a set of quality rubber bump stops, but a custom "bracket" fabricated from steel to make it the correct distance from the axle.

You could use the factory bump stops (though they are extremely hard) or any one you wanted really as long you get it mounted at the right height. If you have the skills/equipment fab your own bracket. If you don't then go to the junk yard and start looking around until you find something that you can modify to fit the bill. I would imagine full size trucks would be the place to start scavenging.

A great junkyard, DIY rear bumpstop to replace the stockers can be found under the rear of the s10 Blazers and Oldsmobile Bravada's. You will need to trim the first section off of these before mounting them. You can also use 80 series LC bump stops, and you'll most likely need to trim them as well.

You may not need to trim the junk yard bump stops... With the super long 9 wraps, the standard s10 bumps will prob work. (I have them and I have some 9 wraps waiting to be out in). Best way to tell how long your stops need to be is to pull your rear springs out, slowly lower the truck, and make sure the bump stops hit before your springs bottom out. (About 2-3" before the shock bottoms out is probably ideal as you don't want to limit stuff). Anyone with experience doing this please chime in.

thanks guys, I looked at the s10 ones, and I'm still on the edge with those or the LC 80 series. anyone else have info before I order?
