LED fog light bulbs....

Congrats! Lookin' good! I do have a question for you now that you have them installed. How much of an improvement are these over stock halogens? Obviously these 6000K LEDs will cast a very white beam vs the less white halogens, but do they actually help you see what's on the road much better, and also do they shine a wider beam to the sides than stock? Thanks!

Thanks! WAAAAAY better light output, I'm guessing at least 8-10 feet sideward projection. The attached crappy picture my son took last night shows what I am talking about. I did take a photo today when I got to work showing the output on the wall (cloudy day, not dark outside)

Thank you for being the 1st I'm aware of to admit the passenger side does not require bumper removal or busted knunkles to get at them. take those two bolts out and it opens up with free and clear access!

thanks do they h11 bulbs and driver fit well in the stock projector housing/dust cover? i'm probably going to go ahead and order these as your pics look great

Tricky to get it all in there, but yes the covers seal completely

Lights arrived Wednesday. Installed Thursday morning. Installation takes about 30 min following the instructions that have been posted.

Drivers side - Easy
Passenger side - A little more work because of that cover.
Fitment was perfect.

An observation - they are heavier then the OEM halogen lights.

A tip - have a SHORT ratcheting Phillips head. That, a work light and a 10mm socket are all the tools that are needed.

No Pics - as it is daylight, i'll try to get some night pics this weekend.
Initial test in a dark garage seem good - definite wide pattern. Just need to test it on a dark street. :reddance:

the last picture is taken from 15 -18 feet back.


the headlights have a clean cutoff (my driveway slopes upward slightly), the foglights pattern is UNDER the headlights with a wider illumination pattern.

when approaching the vehicle (from another vehicle) there does not seem to be a blinding pattern, so far i have not been flashed.

I'm debating ordering a set of the OEM LED fog lights, but not sure if it's worth the hassle. The stock halogen bulbs last awhile, and the OEM LED's cast such white light that they need a Lamin-X yellow wrap to even be vaguely functional as true fog lights.

I would try the "Lexus" LED lights. You may find the brightness and pattern sufficient. If not you could add the lamin-X yellow. If you are in the rainy part of WA, the LED lights 'should be good', but if you are in the snowy part.... I would want the yellow.


I would assume the are clones..... that said mine are working fine so far...
