LED interior lights

way to consistently be a useless idiot
yes cause your posts today have been so insightful, lets see.... plasti dip outsmarts, reading comprehension, useless idiot..... resurrects an old thread and quotes a post from a year ago to say they suck..... YAWN me thinks me smells a troll.... oh and the PMs you are sending to others is really adding to your credibility too :sleepy:

I installed the full kit in about 30 minutes (not including the puddle lights-they came with the kit but the TRDPro doesn't have that option).
The LEDS shown are the 6000k.
The Toyota 4Runner Interior LED Package Includes:
Map (2) + Dome (1) + Courtesy (6) + Trunk (2)
I also purchased the vanity mirror, reverse and license plate LED's plus the tools. I would recommend spending a couple of bucks on the tools.
The youtube video is a big time saver, watch it.

The photos show the LED and Halogen. The interior is just the map lights.

Any issues with theses lights?!

Got my EBay Package today looks all black. did anyone get this same package!
How does it look installed? Not sure if it has the License plate and the mirror light in the package cost like $10 and I ordered the tools from Amazon came today as well.

That's the set I got and it has license plate and those bulbs too. I have pics in my build thread. They look great! Don't let the bulb appearance alarm you.

Sent them back today...they did not fit and there were black. The seller from EBay finally agreed to a refund. Will try Precision LED at least I know they work and organized. I guess you get what you pay for.:yield:

I got the exact same package and they worked perfectly in my 2015 4Runner. Same for many others here. The housing of the bulbs themselves are black plastic, but the diodes emit LED white light.

Let me know how the Precision LED's work out. Post some pics once you get them installed!

Same set I bought, all work fine, even though I think I have enough left to do another complete truck. I didn't use the map light bulbs (can't get the originals out even with tape) or the dome light because the LED replacement wouldn't fit and I worked for damn near an hour and even bent the metal spring some to get it to fit. Probably for the best, as bright as they are you'd blind yourself when you opened the door at night.

I ordered the reverse lights from Amazon and they're extremely bright.

I ordered this set from amazon and I couldn't be happier! $21 bucks for entire inside plus 2x tag and 2x reverse. The lights are even brighter than the pics on amazon show! I feel like Will Smith in I am Legend. lol

btw I used this guide from youtube as it shows every single point you need to hit so you don't break any tabs or clips. I did the whole car in <20 minutes and was being overly careful.

Could you post a link to the reverse lights you got? And do you have a picture with them on your truck? Thanks!

Which level did you go with? In looking at the precisionLED kit and they have 6 and 8k intensity. I have asked them about them but also wondering your thoughts. I know they're both brighter but which (to you) seem "softer" or not quite so much blindingly bright.

Thanks all

I got the same set off eBay (Paid $9) haha. They all work and even did the reverse as well.

Everything came out okay (try gorilla tape with the map lights) and put car out in the sun for a little for the mirrors (softens up the mirror clips) to take off the mirrors easier for puddle lights.

I just used a tiny flat-head wrapped with tape to get to the lights but if you don't feel comfortable doing this get the "pry kit".

Overall happy with the outcome and best $9 I've spent for some time.

Learn from my mistakes, make sure the bulbs are off and cool to the touch. I had to keep my doors closed so the lights would remain off while I removed the old ones. When hot, the tape just melted to the lights and unless you have tiny fingers, you will need the use of tape to remove them. Good luck.
