Who's interested in getting another group buy started??? Maybe getting so_LED to clean out the inbox and come out of hiding? I would love to get one of these kits and cannot seem to find a retailer/kit I like on the web.

leds for interior or other part?

I would love to the whole truck.. Interior and Exterior
Basically interior domes etc.
But also turn signals, brake and turns and DRL.
I would enthusiastically participate in a LED group buy.

so_LED was the only one offering a full kit for the 5th gen here. However, he hasn't been around since mid July and has alienated several users so I wouldn't count on him as a source. Your best bet is to piece together a kit with what you need. There are several threads about which LEDs people have found to work best and which retailers have been reliable.

Tried to order a set from so_LED, couple of PM's back and forth, was supposed to provide invoice, but never heard back from him.

Bought mine from V-LEDS.COM | LED Dome, Map, License Plate, Reverse, DRL, Turn Signal, Brake Lights

I want a set for the rear hatch that don't have a little glow when they're on DOOR mode and the door is shut..

If you search LEDs on here it will give you the bulb #s you need to order through LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS

I did this and replaced all interior lights, reverse lights, and tail/brake lights. I have had them in about a year and a half and so far love the extra light they give off. I have been putting off doing turn signals front and rear, as I think it requires putting some type of resistor in the wiring...and I do hate wiring work.

With the reverse lights you can go a step brighter than the numbers here on the forum show, it provides a lot more useable bright light.

Hi all, brand new to the forums. I have a 2011 Mag Gray 4Runner SR5 model. Just wondering if the LEDs for the reverse, tail/brake lights are PNP. Also, could someone point me in the direction of how to get to this bulbs, I have utilized the search function, but am having difficulties finding how to access these lights. Thanks and happy new years everyone!

If PnP means plug n play, then yes they are, just out with the old light in with the new it is as simple as that.

You get to the brake lights and reverse bulbs by removing a plastic access panel on the interior, then the socket and bulb take a slight twist and pull them out, replace the bulb, put the socket and new bulb back in place and replace the access panel. Not a hard operation at all.

Here is a link to more info on reverse light LEDs

hey jarury,

i ordered the same LED kit as you did. Did you end up using all of the lights? Also, was it difficult to pop off the the light cover on the rear hatch, as I am having difficulties doing so. And lastly, do you know if the courtesy/door LEDs fit the puddle light/vanity plugs?

the whole family tried to get the rear hatch covers off and couldn't figure it out. so in total we used 3 of the 10 pack so far.

I will be taking my corolla for an oil change either today or thursday and will ask them how to get the hatch covers off and if they have a list of bulb sizes for the 13s to know exactly where the bulbs will fit.
