it doesn't matter, neither of those tires are wider than stock. unless you're at full droop often, i wouldn't worry too much about contacting the UCA, and if you do, a set of wheel spacers easily solves the problem

How does it ride with the front at 2.5? are you thinking of going down to 1.75 in the front?

I've got fj springs and 5100's at 2.5, and its certainly firmer than stock, at slow speeds it is a bit rough, but once you're over 30mph, its so smooth and comfortable

Debating wether to put the steps back on or leave them off. Any thoughts?

Agreed... it looks great right now!
It may be just me, but the Sequoia rims always look so much bigger than 17". But I really like the look on the 4th gen, though!

Here's what I'm concerned with...going with slightly wider tires. Anyone with 265/70/17 (no spacers) post a pix?
Update: think I found my answer...think someone already answered this too. My current tire (265/65/17) width is 10.7".....265/70/17 are the same width (at least the tires I'm looking at).

-King 2.5" OEM Performance front coil overs with reservoirs and 24 way compression adjusters.
-King 2.5" OEM Performance rear shocks with reservoirs and 24 way compression adjusters.
-Radflo 2" rear lift springs.
-Total Chaos UCA's/Spindle, Coil Bucket and Cam Tab Gussets.
-Mickey Thompson Classic Baja Lock, 17x9 with 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern.
-BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO (275/70-17)
The shop installed them straight out of the box and is doing height adjustments after it settles. I will be adding about an inch to driver front to eliminate the "Toyota Lean".

Ok, time to update some pics! Enjoy!
Plenty new mods that I've added since I last posted a pic of my 4R.
I'm not done yet, still awaiting my sliders and tire carrier (you reading Rodel :thumb3: ) and also a Baja Rack and some PIAA fogs .... then I'll take a break.
This is one bad ass 4runner!
Finally went to Discount Tire and got me some 265/70/17 GY Wrangler A/T Adventures with Kevlar.
So far not so bad...compared to my 265/65 GYSA I had before....
I got the same ones, but 265/65/16's. What pressure are you running them at?

Torn on which lift to use - Daystar or Toytec?
I am torn on which lift to use for a little more lift all around. Looking at the Daystar 2.5 front / 1.5 back, or the Toytec 3". I do plan to put bigger tires at a later date and still want to be able to keep a decent ride. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
