Finally got my wheels and tires on. SCS SR8 17x8.5 with 285/70r17 nitto terra grapplers. Now all i need to do is build my rear bumper, rock sliders and get some coilovers.

As stated above ^ I build it from scratch. It was my fist time attempting fabricating anythingz rear bumper is next. Got some ideas I just need to get off my ass and do it lol

2006 Sport V8

Hi Guys, I just bought my 2006 4Runner and looking to do a couple of things. Daystar 2.5/1.5 and 1.25 Spidertrax. Would my tires rub if I did 265/70R17 BFG ATs OR should I stick with stock 265/65R17 tires. Your expertise and comments would help greatly with this newbie. I don't really want to shave off anything to fit new tires. Plus any ideas on AT brands/size tires that would look great too. Thanks in advance!

The 265/70's will rub a little while turning with the Spidertrax, but it's an EASY fix and well worth it. It took me about 15 minutes to move the front of the fender liners forward about an inch, slice a sliver off of the inside edge of the front bumper, and to trim the "hump" out of the mud flaps. None of it was noticeable after the adjustments... except for the much improved stance!

suggestions for shocks with Cornfed Lift ?

Any Suggestions? I recently bought an 04 SR5 - V6 - 4wd, previous owner had the - Cornfed Lift: The 3" front/2" rear lift kit installed. 150K miles. It needs new shocks. I was thinking of going with the 5100 adjustable from Toytec (P/N: FJ4RBILK). I am concerned it has the 3" block in the front and the shocks only up to 2.5" on the front? I only go mild off road, mostly street, so i dont see the need to change out springs. Any suggestions?

Used OEM BJs from a set of FJ arms with less than 5k miles on them. No longer riding on the bumpstops with 109K original suspension!!

added some rear shock boots that fit loosely around the bottom for the same reason i added the condom to the fronts. protects from ice and chemicals better than the shin guards and it was $125 cheaper!!

I was able to install a lift and get new tires yesterday. I'm very excited about the results, I think it turned out great.
