Hey guys... I'm sitting on FJ springs all around with Bilstein 5100s, fronts set at 0.85". Looking to put some SCS SR8 17x8.5 -10mm offset wheels on some 265/70/17 tires. Anyone know if I'll have any rubbing issues on this setup??

Fresh install. Bilstein 5100's all four corners. OME884 front. OME895E rear. I need to extend the swaybar endlinks in the rear asap. The ride quality is amazing. At 74K miles, stock springs were slack and all shocks were blown.
Next upgrade will be some SCS Stealths and KO2's. Can't wait.

I switched from Michelin LTX AT2 tires yesterday. I am now rocking BFG AT KO2. The Michelins were great, but I wanted the sidewall protection that is on the KO2s.
My old tires and new tires are both LT275-65/18. I had a 285-65/18 test fitted in the KO2 and it rubbed the frame rails.

You guys are fitting 275/65/18's must be doing some trimming and running spacers I assume? I just had 265 65 18 Duratracs put on, had to modify the liners slightly but not too bad. Test fitted 275's but they rubbed to where I did not feel like modifying stuff that much or spending $250 on spacers

Finally got rid of the Daystar spacers and Installed Total Chaos UCA, Icon Ext 2.5 Remote Resi up front and 2.5 Standard Remote Resi in the rear. Kept the 1.5 Daystar in the driverside rear to help correct lean.
This is what I am aiming for with my 4runner. Only thing I would do to this is add MyToy4's Satoshi grill.
i feel like i need a BL to help clear my 285/75's :drama:
trimmed the fender and some of the inner plastic, push the liner forward, now thinking about chopping the mounts once i get my hands on a welder
What toytec suspension lift did you get the regular or ultimate? I'm stuck between the two, I'm taking out my xreas and trying to decide which one is better for me
Has anyone ever considered swapping the 5th gen 4Runner suspension into a 4th gen 4Runner? I have to think those 5th gens are a good bit heavier, so it should provide some lift, I just wonder if mounting is the same, and where I could find some info on the shocks/ springs

My wheels are 18"x9". I have no idea about the offset though. They are TRD branded wheels manufactured by BBS. The only things I've done is remove the front mudflaps and pulled the fender liners forward. That's it.
i decided to go with the regular boss lift since it was in stock at the time. Allmost everything is the same and i even went the HD springs which are a bit too stoff for me but still do the job on carrying most things i trail

2007 4Runner SR5 2WD. I was trying to create a subtle higher end look appropriate for a base model 2wd that spends it life on road. Being on a limited budget I chose a set of used 20" eneki rims from a x-sp 4Runner, 285/50/20 Cooper Discover H/T tires. I replaced all of the worn factory shocks with KYB shocks. Daystar 1" spacer lift up front. I was really worried about rubbing and had a lot of people tell me it wouldn't fit with out trimming or more of a lift. With this setup and no fender well mods the front tire only bushes against the plastic wheel liner at full lock in reverse. Nothing major and is a very simple fix. What do yall think? Before and after....

A 4Runner with these wheels powder coated black and lifted is what made me want to lift mine. It's in this thread somewhere but I'm to lazy to look. It was that shadow mica color or whatever it's called. I searched and searched for a set and could not find them absolutely anywhere so I had to settle for a different set.

My vision was finally fulfilled! Can't say enough great things about Slee Offroad in Golden, CO. Top notch service and they genuinely care about the vehicle, which is very reassuring. Tested out the setup and it is absolutely unbelievable the way it handles some of these rough CO trails. Very impressed to say the least. No issues with the body mount. Fender liner is trimmed plus pushed forward a bit. Let me know what you think!
