Ya ours is a 2010. We are just waiting for the steering rack to go out but it's been 3 years and nothing's happened yet! I hate driving that thing anyway, too wide and as long as a freaking bus.

Will this be a good lift setup for a 99 2wd limited?
I'm kicking around ideas for a build on my 99 Limited 2wd. I'm going to throw this out there and feel free to give me some advise or point out flaws as necessary. The 99 is my daily driver. I just want a nice height for looks. I don't off-road and I only drive around 16 miles to work round trip per day. I'm on a very limited budget and I will buy everything as I can afford it. Most likely through Amazon with my store card.
This is my plan for the lift and tires:
Toytec/Eibach front coil lift springs (3" lift)
Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Kit for Toyota Tacoma 4WD & Pre Runner 2005-14 - Includes Front Ride Height Adjustable Shocks # 24-239370 & Rear Shocks # 24-186728
ARB 2891 Old Man Emu Coil Spring
Toytec 2" body lift (not on Amazon)
set of 255/85/16 mud terrain tires (I like the looks)
I know I'm a "mall queen" so whatever.

Iroman 4X4 lift
I have the ironman 4x4 lift from metaltech besides the rear coils. I used Daystar 1.5 spacers.

I'm not so sure. I think they are different than the stock and bilstein setup.

285 is that gray area. You should be all right, you will probably have to do the body mount chop though. rubbing on the body will just depend on your wheel offset and you're alignment settings.

Crayc lost some steering tightness after I put on the OME and Superflex also. I just got some Camburg Moog joint UCA's and it definitely tightened the wheel back up a bit after a good alignment. Love the white with stock chrome look, and of course those 18's, good job man.

Thanks Jaybird! Ya im definetly gonna get some uca's sometime in the future. I absolutly love the white too and that dark blue of your rig. Funny I actually broke out the plasti dip today and got rid of those chrome badges, I like the stormtrooper look. Your rig and nyc-runner is what convinved me on the 275/65s, just wanted to say thanks man.

Running stock tires still. Demello bumper on order, CBI REAR bumper to be ordered just can't afford it right now. I cracked my rear and scuffed my front bumper after having it for 3 days. I used to own a 2013 4runner apparently that had more clearance stock. I plan on building a best so stay tuned.
