Lift and Tire Central (pics)... Post 'em Up!

Finally installed Spidertax 1.25in wheel spacers at all four corners. The 275/70r17 BFG All Terrain KO2 tires rubbed a little bit on the front inner fender liner prior to install. The spacers have increased rubbing significantly. Seems like it can be fixed by pushing the fender liner forward. I believe drilling new holes and using the existing screws to secure the liner is the way to go. If you have done this or something similar, I would appreciate photos and/or suggestions on how to proceed.

1/2 done with JF swap

Finally got around to posting a pic of my 06 SR5 after I did the rear FJ springs with 5100s and Daystar spacer. Still have the Daystar on the front till I have time to do the front 5100s and springs. Then I can get to work on the body lift and 33s.

Yes!!! I knew there had to be another Phan on here! We Are Everywhere! I see you're from Cincinnati. I was at Blossom this past summer...and what a summer it was! I think the best tour of 3.0 I did Blossom, MPP, Magnaball, & Dick's. What shows did you hit? And will you be at YEMSG?

You are killing some 3.0. Looks like I saw my first one when you were about 5. I do the family vacations these days instead of traveling for tours. No Phish shows last summer, we'll see what happens this summer.

Mine is blue, brother's is black. Both have toytec 3" lifts and duratracs. spacers on mine as he is running 18's that don't need them. mine was packed to the gills with a ton of stuff plus towing the boat. This was about a month and a half after replacing the head gasket and it did just fine.

Nice truck man. I've got the 18" wheel on my 06, also. Trying to figure out how much tire I can fit under there with the Bilstein 5100s at full height and no trimming. You think I could fit a 275/65?

Spacers made it rub more? Whyyyyy? Newb about to do my lift install and I just can't figure out how much rubber I can fit...

Thanks. Actually i noticed an error on my post.. My tires are 265/60/18 (correct stock size) not 65's. Next time around im gonna go with 275/65/18 with wheel spacers since the wheels i have on now are 9" wide. Im a noob at this whole truck-owning thing (lol) so i probably cant give you the best advice..but i think you would be ok with wheel spacers. Post your results when u can, im curious also.

The wheel spacers increase rubbing on the front inner fender liner because they are pushing the tire out of the wheel well. The rubbing occurs while turning the wheels. Before the spacers, it only rubbed in reverse up hills at full crank. Now it rubs forward & reverse with only moderate turns of the wheel.

I have a 2.5in front lift on mine and I'm running 285/70/17's had to do some minor cutting, lose my mudflaps and I added wheel spacers. I do have some minor rubbing still, but mostly just when backing up.

Parked by the stock T4R I always see when I drop my daughter off at school. Obviously not a ton of difference in height with the Daystar kit, but certainly noticeable next to stock.

Looks great! Nicely done. How do you like the Superflex rear coils? I considered them but I liked the full OME setup on my 3rd Gen very much. So I got the 895 Medium Coil for my 4th Gen.

How long have you been running that setup?
