I went with the OME 885 for 2 reasons. 1) I hear they ride beter than the Toytec 2.5" Spring and 2) The 885 actually lift my v6 w/o winch ~3".
Same with the rear. The Toytec superflex are supposed to be softer than OME 895.

Are you running the top plate spacers up front?
I would imagine they are not needed with the 885 on a V6.
I did 885's with top plates and it sits level with the 4.7l V8.
An aftermarket bumper and V8 might require 886's up front.

Offset & Backspace
Just wanted to post some additional pics for those of you who are curious about how far out non-factory rims will stick out from the fenders. These are 265/70/17 Nitto TerraGrappler G2 tires on 17" x 9" AE Alloys 023 Series wheels. Offset is -5mm. Backspace is 4.75". These are installed on a 2005 T4R with ICON Stage I 3/2 lift.

I am not running a top spacer. That would put me over 3" and need UCAs.

Removed xreas, installed 2013 trail team fj bilstiens with 2.5 inch spacer up front and 1.5 in back. Which I had previously on xreas.
I did have to do modification to fit the FJ shocks.
Wheels are 17x9 tires are 285/70/17 bfg ko2

So did you do if front springs and keep the 2.5 spacer? Up front...

Yes on top of the FJ assembly is a 2.5 inch spacer from daystar kit.

Initial sticker price sure is higher but with the way people talked of getting 75k+ mileage out of the previous generation, it's probably worth it in the long run as opposed to getting 40k on a cheaper set. Not sure if anyone has taken the new KO2's thru their life cycle yet...
Having that debate right now as I shop for tires too.

Yep, I looked into them also, but I couldn't justify the price, I finally went with Toyo Open Country AT2 which are rated for 65k miles. Out the door price was 950.00ish in 285/60/18.

This is a pretty tame setup compared to most on this thread, but I am very happy with results so far!
Have only had the T4R since the end of September, and I have switched from XREAS to Bilstein 5100s all the way around with front at .085. Stock coils... hope to do FJ upgrade or similar someday.
Sorry, no measurements of before or after... had the truck up on stands when I realized I forgot to make a measurement with stock XREAS...
Just got the snows mounted up, it finally got below 40 here consistently in Minneapolis.
Pics in order:
1. stock sport wheels with 265/65r17 Duelers that came with T4R when I bought it
2. Can see a distinct difference
3. 265/70/r17 General Altimax Arctics mounted to 2012 SR5 wheels I bought from [MENTION=79490]Victor_inox[/MENTION] which were in awesome shape (thanks for the great packaging job on the shipment btw!)
I have run the Generals on an Acura we previously had and loved them. Hope they will be just as great on the T4R!
Starting to think my winter setup looks better than the summer setup!

My KO2's were $980 out the door. Install, balance, alignment. However, mine are 275/70r17. I was considering 285s but they were about $50-$60 more expensive PER TIRE. Seems like a lot of people on here are running the AT2 and giving good reviews.
