[MENTION=142213]dinoDNA[/MENTION] to the right of the arrow, is a little polished black spot. That's where it is probably rubbing. doesn't look terrible, but if you have parts laying around. I would think it would be best to go ahead and put them on instead of waiting a bit for the stockers to wear.

Thanks for all the info! I am going to pick up some zip ties on my way home from work and will be taking the exacto knife to the fender wells and bumper tonight. I think you're definitely right about the UCA contact; I will go ahead and swap those out this weekend (I picked Light Racing UCA's with the greasable joint on Amazon NIB but used for $300 bucks a few months back). Hopefully this will improve the situation, and I will report back on the findings. Fingers crossed that this eliminates the issue completely and I won't need to find a fabricator for the body chop!

Yup! It is not as good as I want it to be as I didn't document/take pics of half my mods :redbrick: but it's a work in progress.

Finally got my new wheels and tires on! I debated for a very long time on whether to get 275s or 285s. I wanted the 285s all along but did not want to do a BMC. After tireless research and advice from forum members, I just said F it and went with the 285s.
I gotta say that I couldn't be happier and no BMC needed. The tire shop just pushed the fender liners forward and removed the front mud flaps. Thanks Carl!
Wheels are the SCS sr8 on 285/70r17 Duratracs. Bilsteins all around with front set at 2.5 and rear 1.5 daystar spacers.

Anybody have experience with Cooper STT pros? I like trail grapplers but stumbled across STTs. They look pretty good and are a lot more economical than trail grapplers.

-2008 4x4 Sport V6 (original owner w/ 110,000+ miles)
-Bilstein 6112s up front (highest setting)
-Bilstein 5100s w/ SAW 1.5 springs in the back
-17 in. Matte Gunmetal FN f(x) Pro wheels
-265/65/17 Michelin's transferred over from stock wheels. I'll upsize the tires once I wear the tread out on these donuts.

Thanks, I would say better for sure. The bilsteins quiet everything down over the bumps, and the tires are really quiet too. Haven't had a chance to take it off road yet though.

My buddy has them on his FJ, put about 8000 miles on them so far, on and offroad and couldnt be happier. They still look like the day he put them on. Ive rode in the truck and its smooth and as quiet as you would want a mud tire to be. If you wanted quieter go stt maxx. Cooper is solid tires all around.

Has anyone had any rubbing with this setup? Today I noticed some rubbing while backing up to the left. It's rubbing the bottom part of the front plastic.
