I'm running the OME kit with medium rate springs. I have 255-80-17 Mastercraft Courser CXT tires on stock wheels and it only rubs on the front of the fender liners backing up and turning. These are a true 33" tire but actually more narrow then the stock tires. Also running factory wheels without wheel spacers.
It's the width and offset of the wheels that makes them rub so much. Only problem not many manufacturers make that size tire,so you're kinda limited.

I really wish more tires were offered in that size. My 285s were almost $400 cheaper than the Coopers offered in that size I was also considering

Got my new tires and wheels mounted up finally and finished my rack! 265/70/17 federal couragia mud terrains on 17x9 fuel boost deep lip wheels. The rack was a freebie but was real short so I lengthened it out "12.25 and painted with bedliner. bilstien 5100s all around going on next week. real happy with the look and for the price I couldn't be happier!

I'm not sure I've seen anyone do this combo.

Daystar 1" top out spacer on the front (nets 2") and a 1.5" daystar spacer on the back. My total "lift" was sub $90, and installation took 1.5 hours.
This combo fits 265/70/17 tires perfectly.
I wanted to keep some of the factory rake to level it when I tow my mini camper.

This is 2.5" front, stuffed, 285/75/16r with -16 offset wheel, almost 5* castor (part of the problem) Wheelers Superbumps and swaybars...rubs...trim...rubs...trim...rubs....
Can see in the first pic where I cut the fender so far, has actually cut the tire I was noticing.
Also I beat the body seam down (in the wheel well) and split it open a little...DOH!
Some one just posted they used a adj wrench to start to fold then beat it with a hammer, probably a better idea.

Looks like a body mount chop is in your future.

Wide tires and big offset wheels seem To make you need to do a lot of trimming. I'm running 255-80-17 33.1"x10.0x17 on a 2.5" lift and stock wheels. They only hit the front fenderliner backing up.
You can cut slits every 1" or so in the seam then smack the seam with a hammer. That'll bend them back real easy. Just make sure to hit it with some undercoating so the cuts in the seam won't rust.

when I got my 285 with 3 inch fit in front on a V6 I moved the liners 3 times before the tire ere even installed then I couldn't even leave the shop with the new tires so more gutting two more times along with the fend bottoms whenI limped home. needless to say I had to move lines 4 times and a bunch or cutting on the front to stop the rubbing I really wish I would of went with 275. but the stance I have looks great and I get lots of comments on how good it looks. But yes it was a hassle and after6 different attempts I finally got it to fit and still rubs when off road.

Does anyone have pics of BFG kO2 34x 10.5 17 on a 4th gen and what lift and mods did they have too do to fit them? I have seen 5 gens fit them no with problems. Sorry if this has been covered in other post.

On one of the face book groups a dude just put them on. I believe he has a 3"suspension and a 1 1/2 body lift. It looks really sweet! Although I'm not sure what mods he had to do. Might have just been the fender liners?
