Ha! Thought so. Funny I came across your post, but I'm pretty good at spotting these things. I caught of glimpse of you parked on our way out and said "check out that white 4th gen" to my wife and she was like "yeah, I saw it a long time ago" lol. Small world. Looking good!

How did you mount the cubes in the for light holes and how bright are they compared to stock? Also, how did you mount the led bar in the lower grille? Looks great!

i took it to a shop, so i can't answer your questions about install..sorry.

but yes, they are way brighter than stock. i have phillips LED low beam bulbs and those light up the road quite nice, and i can still make out the yellow off to the sides made by my fogs. and i love the yellow foglight look.

5th gen trail suspension swap with 2.5 front spacer and 1.5 rear spacer.
265/75/16 cooper atp

Started with just the lift, but ended up needing ball joints, tie rods and say bar end links. I never thought I was going to get finished.

The beginning of this winter I installed 17x9 wheels. Tires are 265 70 17 Firestone AT with 10 32nd around. All winter I have had poor snow driving performance. The 4runner has always been unstoppable in snow until the wheels. Do the wider wheels really have that much effect? I know, skinnier is always better for snow....just didn't expect it to be this drastic.

Thanks! About $3,500 for lift/wheels/tires. I haven't done much else apart from painting the headlight housing black, re-routing the exhaust to behind the rear right tire with a flowmaster 50 added in, and a K&N cold air intake.

The Rough Country lift kit is a great set up and I have had mine on since last year and no issues.

Thanks! I definitely thought it was tread depth until I measured. You're right though, the tread width would be un-changed between a 7" and 9" wheel.

Just purchased a 2008 4Runner sr5 v8 iForce, had a 2000 sr5 before this one, 5vz-fe. It has a toytec 3" lift, 16" TRD 6 spoke gunmetal wheels, Goodrich 285/75 r16 ko2's. Amazing off-road with technical trails. On the highway there is a lot of steering with this combo. Haven't had it aligned yet, but it stays pretty straight with hands off the wheel at 60 mph. I noticed there is a deficiency in skid plate protection around the radiator/ oil cooler that is amplified by the lift kit in the 2008. Need to fab something to keep stray brush/sticks from piercing something!

Go ahead and fab something up if you want to save a bit of money, but RCI makes this plate, you could mooch off it's design at least.

Hey, I like the look of your T4R and was wondering what you used in order to get a 5" lift on the front? I wanted to achieve a 4-5" front lift to match my rear lift. I did the Rough Country lift last year 3" top spacer in front and 2" shocks/springs in the rear, but my front end still has a slight rake.
