Does anyone have any pics of a 1in or 2in spacer lift on stock 265/65/17s?
I just bought an 06 4Runner and already put new 265/65/17 Michelins on. I've done A LOT of forum searching. Seems like everyone is in the 265/70/17 camp and up.
If anyone has any pics, that'd be awesome! Looking at Daystar.
Also- can anyone speak to ride height change? For a 2in body lift, is it a 4in difference in ride height?

My 2"/1" lift went up exactly that in height from floor to fender. I'm running 265/70/17's.

New here. 5th Toyota build but first time on T4R. Had an 07' Tundra I thought I wanted after I totaled my 03' 4runner. Decided to go back and found me another. So far, I ripped out the X-REAS, replaced with Bilstein 5100's and Toytec (Eibach) springs up front and RCC 2.0HD springs and Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks in the rear. Put some ProComp 16x8 7069's wrapped with KM2's. Haven't really touched anything else. Probably have to wait until I move to CO to finish up.
Well, got moved. Having a hard time finding anything around Colorado Springs that’s not posted as private property or that’s not much more than a dirt road. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right areas. Anyways, haven’t been able to do much more. I have a 1” body lift waiting for me to put it on. It’s just been sitting in the garage. I did manage to chop the body mount up front. Tires were rubbing almost every time I turned the wheel.

Before and after Daystar lift. I have the limited 18" wheels but the same overall diameter 265/60 R18
I'm also planning on doing a 1" body lift in the near future as a full, proper suspension lift just costs too much money... Looking to fit a 33" tire once I get new treads...

Rancho 2" quick lift
I just installed Rancho quick lift on the front 2006 SR5 V8. I was at 32.5" on front wheel well and 36" in back and I hated it. 119K with original strut/springs so instead of spacers i decided to change those out. Rancho recommends a 1" spacer in back but I skipped that for now. I am now 36 1/2" Front and 36" rear. Waiting a few hundred miles to see if they settle before deciding on the rear 1" Spacer. I think I am all in at $650. new tie rod ends and an alignment too.

Suspension lift?
Hey I just bought a 2004 4Runner SR5 and wanted to know if you all think it has any kind of suspension lift? I know for sure it has a leveling kit and 33" falken tires.

Looks like a front 3" spacer lift with rear 2"spring lift and rear aftermarket shocks. Probably this one http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-760-20a.html

Looks like it might be a Tacoma swap with a spacer on top in front with Toytec Superflex coils in the rear. I'm sure someone with more knowledge on the OEM suspensions can clarify.
Are the UCAs OEM with a greasable joint added?

Picked up a 4th gen with relatively low miles. Up front I put in Bilstein 5100 shock with OME 885's thinking it would level the vehicle by putting the 5100's on the rear and keeping stock springs. Turns out the old springs were sagging quite a bit which threw my measurements off. Now I'm running the Cali squat. Tried to install Old Man Emu 895E's on the rear yesterday. I got the old springs out but couldn't get enough separation to get new springs in. I put a jack on the axle to open up space for the new spring and must have caused a leak in my tranny fluid line (today's project). Kumho Road Venture A/T 265/70R17's not a bad tire for $500.

Extremely satisfied, looks even better in person. A little trimming, and mud flap removal and NO rubbing at all. No body mount chop either.

But I am wondering is whee spacers are a good idea? Will it rub more? Does it effect the ride? Are they safe?
