Bilstein Lift
Got my wife a 1.25” bilstein lift. She has the stock 265/70/17. Idk if i should keep the same or go 285/70/17.
I’m sure if i go bigger i might need to trim some and maybe do can mount chop.
Anyone have the same lift and have pics?

I installed my new snowflake wheels. It is on stock suspension with 265-70 17 tires. No rubbing so far. Side note I didn't install my tpms yet, and the light never came on. The light works. It came on on me a few weeks ago when my spare tire lost some pressure. I added air to spare and it went off. Is this normal? does the TPMS disable automatically when all four tire signals disappear?

Could I use spring compressors to adjust the c clip on the shocks? I've read that they are prone to failure so it got me thinking.. would 2 sets of spring compressors per shock be safer and more effective?

No sensors in new wheels. I did some research and think I figured it out. From what I read if the sensor signals disappear it will take an hour of driving or 100 miles for it to notify that all sensors are missing. I driven less than those so far and I park next to my old wheels too.
It seems to be correct. If the information is incorrect please chime in.
Decided to go back to black wheels. 4 layers of plasti-dip, 4 layers of clear coat.
Does anyone know what roof rails and nerf bars this is?
It's the stock offerings from the sport editions.

Which front spacers?
I am trying to decide which front leveling spacers to get for my newish 2008 UrbanRunner 4WD with XReas.
I am going for the "OEM Plus" look, or what I like to call "Subtle but Sexy!" The type of thing that only a fellow 4Runner enthusiast would notice. I do not plan to offroad and I want to preserve the stock ride characteristics as much as possible.
I added All-Pro wheel spacers at 1.25" in front, 1.5" rear. The front tires rubbed ever-so-slightly in reverse while turning. I fixed the rub by moving the fender liner forward.
Now I want to go from a stock 265/60r18 tire to a 265/65r18 (equivalent diameter and width to a 265/70r17). I want to add a small front spacer lift to help clear the larger tire and get rid of some of the rake. The rear wheel arch currently sits 2.5 inches higher than the front. I am assuming I will have to trim the front bumper and possibly the front mud flap, which is fine. I do not want to do any major trimming or remove the mud flaps. I do not want to lift the rear at all.
Help me decide which brand and size front spacer to get. I am honing in on a 1.25-1.75" lift.
The Daystar has a great price, but I think it is a tiny bit more lift than I want. I contacted Daystar, who say the 1" spacer will lift the front end 1.5-1.75". However it seems most people on T4R.org report a 2" lift. What is the truth?
Toytec offers some front spacer kits. It looks like they don't really have anything between the .5-.75" lift and the 2" lift, that will work with XReas.
I found a 1.5" lift spacer on Amazon by European Precision Motorwerks and on eBay from StreetRays. Neither works with XReas.
Cornfed, through Burtman Industries offers custom sizes at 1/4" intervals. Jason Burtman quoted me $110 for a 1.5" lift spacer, which is made from one aluminum spacer and one polyethylene spacer.
I am leaning toward the Burtman Cornfed option. Anyone have this?
Anyone have a strong opinion for or against any of the others?
Or a strong opinion for more or less front lift, given the bigger tire and that the rear will remain stock height?

What engine do you have? The V8 is heavier and probably has sagged down the springs on the front even more like mine did. If you have the V6 then you shouldn't have to worry as much. I ended up having to do a 3.5" front coil spacer (idk which manufacturer). It works just fine with the XREAS, was only like $50, and leveled it perfect. I have the V8:yo:

I would suggest the Daystar front leveling kit. It’s a 1” spacer that will result in approxamtely a 2” lift. Then get some FJ springs for the rear. That will give you about .5” and improve the back. This will keep a little rake, not affect the handling much, and be very cheap. It also will be seamless with the XREAS. I have a similar setup, a Daystar level with Dobinsons 599 1” Springs in the back. The handling characteristics are very similar to stock.

Hey again. Also, can make you ANY SIZE you want, any size, not just 1/4" increments. Also, these kits are sold by the amount of lift they give WHEN installed.
I just don't prefer to offer the Dstar kits as I sold a 2.5" front and in under 2 years it shrunk down to 2" front, and then my customer was pretty upset (he was rubbing on his tires) and then ended up selling him the Cornfed 3/2 later. It's a lot of labor involved and he had to do it twice. I can get the other kits, but prefer not to deal with that issue,.
Again, I can have ANY SIZE spacer made that you guys want. 1.25" 2.65", lol, whatever.
2/1 leveling kit came out awesome. It sits perfect and alignment even stayed the same.
