Dobinsons 2.5in front springs, 2in rear springs.

Are these the C59-302 coils up front and C59-325 in the rear? Looks great!

Diggin' the YT! My buddy has a Jeffsy and loves it. Wish all bike manufacturers would follow their lead in direct sales.

Oh yea...truck looks good too. Maybe stepping up to that size after my 33s wear out. Gotta ask, 9" width, -12 offset and 285/75s...how much are you rubbing the BM?

Finally upgraded from the crap spacer lift on the stock XREAS to the Toytec Ultimate and SPC upper control arms! I had forgotten what ride quality was!

Slee Offroad OME BP-51 install. Appx 2.5-3 in the rear and about 2.5 in the front. Toyota TRD Pro Matte Black Wheels with BFG 275-70/17 tires. Minor rubbing on full lock with the mudflaps. Will remove them soon.

Will those KO's fit on stock wheels with stock suspension without rubbing. I can't seem to find that answer. 2nd question, is those tires then fit on the TRDs with stock suspension. I want to go baby steps and don't necessarily need to be 3ft off the ground unless there is rubbing.

Any idea how the Dobinsons rear LT 2" springs (not sure of the model) compare in length to your MT rear 2" springs?

I am debating making the switch to the lower rear coils as well. I have even had some 700lb Icon spring sitting on my bench for about 6 months to basically admit defeat and raise the front to compensate. Did you have 650lb spring on whatever suspension you had in there before? Noticeable difference in stiffness?

Not sure on length difference between the two. If Dob lists their coil rates the softer coil should be longer. Think the MT is 120?/300 coil rates

I had 590# coils on OME shocks before. The quality of ride is much better but the stiffness is about the same. The 590# were like butter with all my extra weight, 700# are firm but are in no ways stiff/harsh. I also removed the sway when I installed the Kings, bodyroll with the 700# coils w/out sway is about the same as the 590# with sway.

I was in the same boat. I installed the rear metaltech coils and had more rake than I liked. Not only that, under heavy braking the rear was completely unloaded and it was sketchy. Needed to raise the fronts to match the rear. My only complaint is that I'm getting what sounds like CV boot rubbing when I gun it around corners. Going to try high-angle boots and see if that fixes it.

I've been a reader for a long time and thought I would contribute a photo of my recent setup. I replaced my Michelin LTX AT2's P265/65-17 today due to sidewall cracks (Costco amazingly gave me a huge credit towards this), with BF Goodrich KO2's in LT265/70-17 C "laces out" after reading about and admiring other peoples trucks on here. I have Bilstein 5100's all the way around on stock springs with the fronts set at 0.85" and I love the setup. It's amazing how much better filling out the wheel wells makes it look!!! From my experience so far, these are hardly any louder than the Michelins and they ride great (I was apprehensive about an LT tire). Thanks for all the help, hopefully I can contribute more to help other members!!!

Just to confirm, the only mod is the 5100's on this with that tire size? Any rubbing at all? I would have expected this to rub? Any other issues or wear and tear from this setup?

That looks sweet. I have an '08 as well but just a Sport. Do you have a 2" spacer lift in the back to match? I'd love to see a side shot if you have one.

First post, been lurking here for awhile.

-Superflex Rear Springs
-5100 Rear Shocks
-Fat Pats 1.5" Body Lift (might remove when time comes for tire change down the road)

-Level 8 MK6 17x9 -12 offset wheels
-Falken Wildpeak LT285/75/17 (34s)

Would like a bumper soon but I'll wait until I actually get to start using the truck lol (as you can see, most photos in a driveway, full time work/student life...)

is it a thing now to install coilovers upside down?

That’s the back.

Edit: Oops, never mind, I thought you were referring to the 3rd last picture with that comment. The “upside down” is normal for me. Everything I’m currently learning is based off of info here and other places with 4runner info. Sorry for the confusion haha
