So adding another inch of spring will just make it more difficult to achieve full compression right? Can you explain this further?

I guess it would depend on the spring rate, but even if a spring gives more lift it could still have the same spring rate as a shorter lift spring.
The simplest explanation is that they just change static ride height. The travel of the tire is only limited by the shock's extended length (or suspension joint binding) at full extension and the rubber bump stop on the frame for full compression.

After humming, hawing and saving money I finally pulled the trigger on a proper lift.
I have had the Daystar Spacer Lift on for about 2.5 years and couldn't wait to step up to a full lift.
The local shop to me told me about a Canadian company; Elka Suspension, that was getting into the truck market. They come from a world of UTV's, ATV's and snowmobiles. I figured I'd give it a try and support a Canadian company at the same time. Currently at this time they do not offer these shocks for a 4th gen 4runner so Krave Automotive (my local shop) worked with Elka to get the correct bushings installed from the factory. These shocks come with 13" x 700lb coils (I believe) so I have a set of 14"x650lb Eibach coils installed as well. This provides me with a bit more lift and a softer spring rate (no front bumper as of yet.)
I paired these shocks with Total Chaos UCA' with a delta Joint pressed in (apparently better suited for our climate up here.) I put 2nd gen 4runner rear end links on (longer) and went with a pair of Dobinsons C59-677V rear coils. Timbren Bumpstops in the rear and I've got front ones on the way.
I've had this kit on the vehicle for about two weeks now and absolutely love it. I don't have much experience with aftermarket shocks so my comparison is coming from a spacer lifted stock XREAS suspension but these feel amazing. The shocks front and back have dual speed compression adjusters as well so I've been playing with that and tweaking to my liking.
I haven't measured the afters yet but I think I am sitting about 3.5" lift in the rear and probably 2.5-3" in the front.
This is over the Daystar lift in stock suspension with 150K Km on it so probably some sag. I can't find correct stock measurements but when I took the Daystar out I think I was sitting about 1.5-2" lift in the front and .5" in the rear.

Trd rims
I am new to the forums and I was just wondering if my current tires I have on my 4 runner will fit on new trd rims so basically just trying to use the same tires and just putting them on the trd rims. The reason why I am not getting new tires with the rims is because I just bought my 2006 sr5 4 runner and the dealership put new tires on and I am on a budget.
My tire size now is just the stock size 265's on the stock 17 inch rims . also how do I post pics so I can show my current tire size for more info for you guys.

Yes they will fit, should be just fine as the trd rims have a very close to stock width and offset.

Now I said you don't need to post any photos..but what you do need to do is give more info..
A tire size will look like this.... 265/65/17, this is the stock size of most 4th Gen 17" tires...but to be sure what you have is the same....the middle number (in red) is what you haven't told us.
Also we need to know more about your TRD wheels, I'm assuming they are 17"(?), are they new(?) or used(?) if new did you get them in a stock 4th Gen size(?), if used what did they come off of, year and model Toyota(?), we need to know this because of what off set they have, the off set is the difference between where the wheel attaches to the hub in relationship to the center line of the width of the wheel, stock 4th Gen wheels have a 30mm positive off set, 5th Gen wheels have a 10mm positive off set which when on a 4th Gen will have the tire going outwards by 20mm i.e. around 7/8", 5th Gen wheels will fit on a 4th Gen but depending on the tire size may rub on the fender skirt.
Give us more info, the second tire size number and especially about the TRD wheels, so we can give you a definitive answer.

You are right my tire says 265/65/r17 the trd rim I will be purchasing are 17 in off of the poem part source but that is the only dimensions they say on the description.

The tires will definitely fit on the wheels....that being said a little bit more info from you, so you are getting the wheels from Gem Part Source so they should indeed be new wheels....But I have never heard of this part source before and couldn't find it doing an online search, do you have a link so i can see how they do their online ordering(?), or did you mean "OEM Part Source"(?), if it's indeed OEM Part Source and you entered the info asked in the next paragraph then all should be fine.
If you have ordered the wheels did you enter the info for your T4R, year model etc...before ordering and paying for the wheels(?), if not then Gem Part Source should be selling you the correct wheels for you T4R with the correct stock 30mm positive off set and all should fit exactly as the wheels you have on it now, but to ease your mind I would call them if they haven't shipped yet to confirm the above, if you haven't ordered the wheels yet be sure to either call or otherwise somehow confirm that the wheels do indeed have the correct off set for your year T4R and you should be good.

Yea that was my bad I meant to say oem it must have auto corrected. But when I fill out the info about my car (a 2006 4runner sr5) it says they will not fit but they have the same lug pattern also I see other people driving around on the trd rims on 4th gen t4r. here is the link Toyota TRD 17" Matte Black Alloy Wheel (PTR20-35110-BK) | OEM Parts

Yes they will fit your T4R but they are a 5Th Gen wheels and have a 10mm positive off set so they will stick out around 7/8" further than what you have now so it's possible that you could have a little bit of tire rub at full lock but a little bit of fender trimming with a Dremel will fix that if they do rub.
The wheels are for 2013 thru 2019 T4Rs, any Toyota parts website will say a part will not fit a vehicle if it isn't a part that was stock or an option for that year model but mant parts from 5Th gens T4Rs will fit and work, some with slight modifcations on 4TH Gens T4Rs, they say these wheels will not even fit 2010 thru 2012 5TH Gen T4R because they weren't an option for those years but they will fit them just fine.
Edit: just did some more research on these wheels and I'm not sure if your lug nuts from your stock wheels will work with these wheels, but it possible they might, from OEM Part Source's website they recommend these lug nuts for those wheels.

Some of the SR5 came with 16" wheels.
Says in the description those wheels will fit 2003-2019.
They are only 7" wide to BTW.
Was another company...name slips my mind, that did a 8" rim...incase you run a larger tire 285 style.
