Got some decent pics yesterday showing the fitment of Sequoia wheels (no spacers) and 285/70R17 KM2s
Wow - that 15mm offset difference is more noticeable than I though it'd be. Thanks for posting, I've been considering some Sequoia wheels for my T4R in the past. This might of sealed the deal for me.

I've had them rub just a bit on my SPC UCAs when I take corners hard (which I don't really recommend in a lifted 4Runner in the first place) but otherwise they're the perfect fit as far as I'm concerned.
I'll probably try re-aligning the UCAs to get a bit more clearance, and if that doesn't work I'll grind them down a bit.

Holy lift batman, I vote sequoia wheels, not that my opinion matters lol.Teasing the sequoias on the rig I have spacers on right now. Gonna wrap in 285/75/17 falken AT3s.
Both wheels have 265/65/17 for reference.

Bilstien 5100 and OME 887 front and the 895 rear. No body lift.

how much lift did you get from the 887s? the wheeler rep i spoke to told me to expect only 2-2.25" in the front (with a v8).
That seems low based on my research, it should net you 3+" easily assuming no front bumper/armor.

Yes, badly. I purchased my first lift/ wheels/ tires at the same time. Wheels took about a week and a half longer than lift to get delivered. Rocked like this for a week and thought the lift was super dramatic. Put on the 285's and the proportions were right again lol.

i haven't seen 3"+ listed for the 887s for a gen4, but I'm a noob at this stuff. what sucks is I bought the 887s based on the Wheeler rep's recommendation—I told him I was looking for ~2" on the front, nothing 3"+ for sure. Have not installed yet... I guess I should look into their return policy.
The list below doesn't include 887s but just looking at the trend from 883s-886s tells the story on what you can expect.

thanks for the info... i guess it's back to the drawing board for the fronts. i'll have to contact Wheelers, and ask some questions in the other Lift thread.

Rear springs?
How much lift did you gain from the 883s?
I have some FJ front springs and some 5100s. I really just want to level out the front a bit. I'm wondering if the 883s would be better then the FJ springs.
My rear springs are stock right now. I probably gained about 2.5-3" mainly because my stock fronts were lower than stock. They were even a little lower than the V8 in the pic.

What size tire did you go with?
The front of my 2008 Sport sits almost 3" lower in the front then in the rear. I'd be happy with 1"-2" of lift to help level it out.
The 885 and the 887 both had the same spring rate but the 887 is a smidge taller. i got less of a lift with the 887s than I did with the 886s. Go check my post history to see my issue with the 886. Id steer clear from them.
