I'd really appreciate any advice or feedback on my planned mods too. I am installing Cornfed 3/2 tomorrow on my 2008 4Runner with XREAS. My primary objective is to raise and control sagging on the rear end due to an additional 500+ lbs of weight from a motorcycle and its hitch carrier I use (not a trailer, more like a hard core bike carrier). When I load gear or passengers on top of too, the rear sags too much and the hitch carrier is way too close to the ground.
I'll see tomorrow how much the Cornfed spacers alone address this, but I've been wondering if they'd work with and be even better in conjunction with air lift bags, like Firestone Air Bags or similar, to keep the rear level under heavy load? The Timbren systems rubber bump stop is the other options I've been wondering about. Any thoughts or advice on this?
