Light bar wiring installation HELP

Hey family hope everybody's having great day. I just bought a 30' Heise light bar. I have some questions on the installation. Would it be easy to get a wiring kit with a rely? I found one from rigid industrial for $30. Next question I notice some T4R family members link the light bar to their high beam. Do you ready need to tie it in and what purpose would that do? Do we have some good write up on this type of installation? Thank guys

rig, Cheers

I tied mine right to the battery with my rigid harness. just make sure you get the right harness for your light bar. Rigid makes them by bar length.

Did you change your switch? I was planning to get the AOB push switch.

I used a $10 KO switch off and tied into the circled switch for the back light. the only issue is that I had to bevel the side of the push button to prevent it from sticking. 5 minutes with a razor blade saved $20 or more.

Did you link it to the dimmer? Does the push switch hook straight up to the kit?

I wired my spot lights to my high beams via relay. I can use the high beams with and without the spot lights depending on whether I press the switch.

Read this:http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/164966-led-light-bar-install-2014-toyota-4runner.html

And this: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/231053-aob-switch-wiring-question.html

Buy this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017VDI0GY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And this: 12 Volt 3amp ON-OFF Toyota OEM Replacement Push Switch with LED blue lights -Air On Board

And some wire (I used 16 gauge), a couple inline fuses (I used 5 amp because my lights aren't super big), butt connectors, etc.

Takes a while to do the job but it's pretty straight forward and the posts above walk you through it step by step.

You only have to tie into the high beam if your state requires it, I don't know about Georgia. One advantage is being able to quickly turn off the light bar by hitting the light stalk versus fumbling for a switch. I guess if you were someone that might run it on road that would be important as most bars are insanely blinding. The other links have good write ups, I also have the AOB switches, a decent option for those that don't want to cut their dash.

Where are you located? I just got the 30" heise bar with my bumper but don't need the wiring harness that was shipped with it. If you want it, I'll give it to you for the cost of shipping.

I'll be mounting mine to a bussman relay box but I have a plethora of other lights and prewired switches in case I ever added more.

I live in Georgia.

My old home town, well if you want a wiring harness, just let me know if you want me to ship it. Otherwise, it will probably just sit in the garage since I usually cut them off of the lights.

Do you have a picture of the harness? How much for the shipping?
