Has anyone experienced any performance issues after installing the 17" wheels on the Limited? Shifting seem a little jerky compared to the stock 20s.

I just installed P265/70r17 General Grabber ATX on TRD Pro wheels.
The truck definitely feels like it went from wearing running sneakers to wearing hiking boots. Not quite full on work boots, but big cushy hiking boots for sure.
Probably not the smartest move for someone that drives 80 highway miles per day. The ride just feels sluggish overall. I'm sure I will get used to the ride and the hit to the gas mileage. They sure do look sickkkk though /sarcasm.
Time will tell, but the smarter move would probably have been going 275/55r20 on the stock wheels route for me. Part of the plan was to keep winter/summer tires, or commute wheels/off-road wheels so maybe I will do both.

Yes!!! I haven't seen anyone post pics of just cornfed 1/2" spacers so I just went and tried it. I love how the look came out.

So just to clarify, did you get 1/2" thick spacers that provide 1" of front lift, or is there actually a 1/8" cornfed front spacer that provides 1/2" lift that you've used here?

I'm running the 1" cornfed front spacer on ours, the actual spacer is 1/2" thick. Looks much better, feels more like a truck with the chin up a bit.

Do you have pictures? I have the same 4Runner as you and I'm considering these wheels as well. My plan was to go with the Nitto tires that come on the Pro to keep the overall weight down. I would like a little softer ride myself.

Understood. I never put running boards on mine. I just did the splash guards and called it a day.

Mine has 8k miles and I definitely have a decent rake. It would probably be more noticeable with the offset provided by the TRD wheels. I've considered ditching the XREAS, but I spend most of my time on the road and don't see a good reason to invest the money right now.

Thank you. I think it looks good. I bet removing the running boards would help add back some visual height.

May I know what front leveling kit did the dealer install? and which dealership did you get your nightshade? Thanks

Completed the Limited rocker panel mod. Used a dremel to cut the panel and used a car door edge guard trim to clean up the look. I initially wanted to buy the trail edition rockers but they were too costly for me. Shrockworks TE trim was an option but I ultimately decided against it.

Preparing to install some RSG sliders. Anyone have any tips regarding the X-REAS lines for the slider install? Is is pretty simple to unbolt, move out of the way, and install on top of the slider plates?

It depends on the mounting points of the RSG sliders. I had no problems installing my OPOR sliders and keeping the XREAS lines intact. Yes, just unbolt and move out of the way and install on top of slider plates. It's been a while, but I think I had to move a brake line out of the way too.
