Looking for OBD2 Scan/iOS app for MPH

Looking for a an OBD2 scanner and associated iOS app that can show corrected speed for a gen4 2007 4Runner.

Anyone have any luck or insight here?

Not an app but Scangauge II does that and more.

dash command for OBII reading and speed. I believe you can edit the speed to show adjusted.

Or fix it properly with a speedo-healer. Or bandaid it with scangauge.

Instead of using a scanner you might want to opt just for GPS map or driving app.

In my old hoopty when the speedo broke I actually just used a magellan GPS and displayed my speed on there.

Yep, I use a Garmin Montana hardwired to show my real speed. I use the ScanGauge primarily for codes.

i use Dash Command, not for my MPH. I fixed mine with the speedo healer and wired it up.

I hate having different modules on the dash or apps and stuff to make it "right". Fix the problem and keep on moving while looking OEM.

This forum suckles the teet of scangauge though.

i just personally cant stand 2 separate modules on my dash showing different readings. The scangauge was cool when it came out but is so outdated now and i think they're ugly.

My deal is, i have a speedometer already, with $100 i can buy the speedohealer and correct the speedo so it all works as designed and nothing added visually. That to me is far superior than a secondary unit to use in place of what came with the vehicle.


Exterior enhancements are a whole different ballgame.

Just giving you a bit of sh!t, I disagree but that's why we have our own trucks. I use my GPS a lot so it's permanently mounted on the tach which is totally useless.

When towing I hook up the ScanGauge to watch tranny temps and have a camera screen on the right of the radio connected to the camera on the back of my trailer.

I'm not a gadget guy but useful info is important to me regardless of the non-stock look.

I'd fix it with a SpeedoHealer, I like keeping things looking sleek vs. having a bunch of chinsy looking screens taped to the dash myself.
