Low speed rumble grumble

Made an emergency stop/evasive maneuver on my way home yesterday, lady stared at me while pulling right it front of me. Super brakes kicked it (or whatever it's called).

Noticed today when turning at low speeds there's a distinct rumble/grinding type noise coming from the front end. Sounds like it's rotational, but only with wheel's turned. I pulled a front wheel off to check my brakes and the pads look fine. Tie rod ends look fine. Only have 10k on my coilovers and uniball uca's those all look fine. I greased my uca bushings a few days ago. Wheel bearings feel fine. Any idea on what to check next?

In my experience cv's click, not grumble, and there's no leaks. Tires are not rubbing anything.

I could also be paranoid.. I've always felt more road vibrations with the uniballs, but this feels more significant.

I've been having this issue lately too but with the wheels in any direction. My steering wheel has been vibrating like an electric razor and at 5-10 mph the front end can sometimes decide to go insane and vibrates/shakes like I'm driving on deeply grooved rumble strips.

It happens no matter where the wheels are pointed, with 4wd engaged, and shifting to neutral doesn't help.

My first thought with what you describe is tires, duratracs have huge voids. If you were local to me I'd let you put my spare street wheels on to test it. My km2's were hilarious at around 3mph, just like driving over rumble strips too.

On mine I don't have vibes so much through the wheel, it's more audible and I can feel it through the floor boards. It's intermittant today so now I'm thinking maybe it's just the uniballs messing with me. hard to say.

Chiming in to say, that I have been experiencing the same grumble as well. I feel it through the steering wheel and it is audible as well. Haven't discovered where it is coming from. First thought was the tiresthough

Recently went on a 7,400 mile road trip with my fiance and when we left, I had 6,000 miles on my Duratracs and when we returned home, had 13,400 miles. Since returning home, I have noticed the exact same rumble grumble at speeds up to 20 mph and my theory is tires. I haven't rotated my tires in probably 9,000 miles or so since two of the tires won't balance on the road force balancer properly and I need to get them replaced. So, long story short, tires may be to blame.

Follow up for those curious. I wasn't loosing my mind after all. Traced it to some new sliders I recently got, they're contacting the body near the wheel wells, when I turn it's reverberating road vibs into the slider/body. Little trim and it should be good to go.

I've heard the brake assist is capable of throwing alignment out, you might have lost a little caster when that happened pushing them back and rubbing a bit. That system works really well but is scary as shit when it does kick in.
