LTDSC Build Thread

Bought new hubs/bearings and cvs and installed them on the t4r last week. Went and recently got stock spindles as a spare set. I'm going to gusset and paint those then install. Will greatly improve strength.

The straps turned out perfect! That's exactly what I had in mind. Did you have them just weld a tab to the factory arm? Also, what length strap did you go with?

I had him weld the mount to the end of the strike pad. Then he reinforced below it to take the tug force. I used an 8" strap and bought the clevis and the mount which he welded up and to a plate. Then to the frame.

They didn't sound like that when you past me yesterday morning, WTF.

That muffler looks extremely smaller in diameter than stock, is it?
If so, might have to look into aftermarket mufflers now. Don't like the bulky ones we have, keep smashing them.

Sounds really great there HOT ROD...

Ha I passed you?! I put it on this morning so it was silent yesterday. It's considerably smaller than OEM. It doesn't hang down at all nor visible from the side profile. Install was easy and I only had to do one minor modification but that was no big deal.

Good to hear. I need to get off these forms, I'm constantly going broke with all these MOD I see.

Was driving incognito as usual.

Wow I like where the tip is, did you cut some pipe off to place it there? Mine is out the back and don't like nearly as well.

I cut an inch off the exit pipe from the muffler that goes up and over the brace. Then i make sure it was twisted enough to give the angle I wanted for the tip. I just didn't install the last piece and installed the top directly to the bent piece.

I like where it's routed and still exits from under the vehicle without droning. So far I like this exhaust. Not too loud but loud enough when I want it.

I recently installed a dash cam that I got. Install went extremely easy as I routed it up the A pillar and under the headliner. I hard wired it in as well.
