LTDSC Build Thread

yeah, the led projects onto the clear of the needle as it sweeps the gauge. i swapped mine to white and and my orange needles look almost pink. I'm gonna swap them to red to darken them up. I've taken mine apart a couple times and wanna save you some time.

Thanks for pointing out those bad LEDs. I replaced them tonight and the blown out ones on the tach. The completed set up.

Overall fairly easy? I have all the stuff(led's etc), just don't want to pay so much to have it all done!

id say it was surprisingly easy. If you're comfortable taking apart your speedometer and getting it to just the circuit board then its easy from there.

no prob, it looks awesome. It looks like your the new mcniel fenders model. haha

LTDSC, is there a difference between the Limited tachs and the SR5 tachs?

the gauges are close and its mostly the needle thats different. sr5 and sport have a orange needle and limited had red with a laser point. You can see the white dot in front of the needle point.

Did my steering controls last night. Did you find them harder to do than cluster? Board was small, would seem tougher than cluster. I haven't tackled cluster yet, need some wick or a sucker.

The steering controls were a little harder because the size of the board and lack of stability. The cluster I thought was surprisingly easy.

The front wheel well makes the 35s look like 33s; even without a body lift. Looks good, you just sold me on getting 35s!

Damnn just Damn:wow: Well that didn't take long at all to get those mounted up lol,,, Those look great man, Perfect size IMO! How's everything feeling, any rubbing anywhere?

the front i need to trim a little more of my cab mount, i never fully chopped the cab mount just to gain enough clearance originally. So that will happen this weekend. The rear i need to check, i need to extend my rear bumpstops but i might open the rear fender up a bit like Fabien did on his pre runner.

Looks a LOT better now, fills in that front bumper sytle you have.

Just make a run down to the beach and do a couple of Whoops , Whoops, you'll be able to tell if the back is clear.
