The frame on the F150 is quite impressive...fully boxed rails with crossmembers welded thru-and-thru both sides of the boxed frame.
Very strong and quite. But it needs a 5-speed and more power to move all that weight. 300-500lbs. more than other pickups. I can't believe they still use a 4 speed tranny.
