Making window switch constant hot

I have seen threads for other vehicles where you just jumper a wire in the fuse block under the hood. I want to make it so the windows can roll down without turning the key on. Is there such a mod for a 2nd gen t4r? I searched window switches and got mostly stuff for the rear window.

Thanks

Usually, it's just a matter of grounding the proper window control relay terminal plus control logic requires that IGN be on. Control relay would have an input requires 12V from IGN switch.

If you could post schematic of your truck (window control circuit and fuse block), members who may own different models but are electrically-savvy may be able to help you find where to get that 12V.

For safety, so that your window does not open when you're away from the truck, a separate switch may still be needed to turn that 12V off (on the first-gen, this is the Window Lock switch that interrupts ground).
