Awesome!! I just drove my new 13 TE back from San Diego -> Austin but left my 7D in the bag most of the way Great shots, my bucket list of a sharp milky way picture was crushed by all the thick clouds/rain the entire night portion(s) of the trip.

how great is the 16-35mm? im getting close to pulling the trigger to replace my 17-40F4L.
great shots. nicely built rig. i did a road trip through south dakota recently but got too lazy to write up a thread on it

Its a great lens though like a lot of lenses it has its time and place. My favorite was the 14mm which I left on top of the truck in the middle of Kansas. The worst part is I have the image to prove it and the other is its $2,500 down the drain

Toyota World (Africa)

Life is funny, you just never know whats going to be around the corner. I received a call a few months back about joining a mission group to a trip to Africa as photographer and so with a twist of my arm I went. In 10 Days we crossed 3 continents, put over 25,600 miles of travel, 15 different flights and visited 4 countries; South Sudan, Rwanda, Kenya and Ethiopia. An amazing adventure and experience. I tell you if only I had done this trip when i just bought my truck, if would be SO different. That's another story, enjoy the snaps. Been there done that! Although mine was a laptop. Worse part is that I was on the freeway and I heard something crash around me.....realized when I got home that the crash I heard was my laptop hitting the freeway barrier........:ybrick::dammit::rip:
