Hey all,
I'm going to be driving the Medano Pass trail from east to west on Sunday morning, October 22. My girlfriend and I are staying out near Westcliffe the night before and will get a somewhat early start (we're flexible on time), drive Medano Pass, check out Great Sand Dunes, then just hang out in the area til the evening.
If anyone is interested in meeting up on the east side of the pass Sunday morning and driving it together then let me know. Another option would be if you want to camp a little ways along the trail we could meet up as I pass through. I don't expect the conditions to be too sketchy (water levels should be about as low as they get for the year), but it's still nice to roll with a group. Should be a great time, not too busy, awesome views, and a good chance to meet others on this board!
