MillerPKA Build Thread #2

Just fine and definitely better than the last build considering I had 4.10s on the old and 4.30s now.

Still will he regearing to 4.88 or 5.29 when I figure out what I'm doing with the engine.

I'll be on 4.10s and 35's in about a month or so. Hopefully it's tolerable for 6 months or so before I can afford to regear.

Where do you go to school? If you were in the mountains it may get pretty annoying, but if the terrain is anything like San Diego you should be fine man.

Welcome back! If your last build is any indication of the direction this will go, I'm excited to see it.

Thanks bud. I feel like this same exact comment keeps coming back up and now I can't find the others. Are you making new accounts and reposting or this some new level of trolling?

Arizona State. Aka the middle of the desert. Haha I'll probably be fine then. Thanks!

You did indeed thank a spam bot for complimenting your rig

I banned him lol

Haha well at first I thought it was just someone who just kept posting the same thing because I never responded. I really don't get what is gained from that but feels a little creepy. Whatever, thanks to the REAL people out there in internet land for the compliments.

Congrats on T4ROTM by the way! It's looking frrrrrrrrrresh. And that Supra too. Please keep it.

You are definitely going to be fine. What tires are you getting? I lived on flat land when I was in college and had the 97 with 4.10s and the Generals, which I'm pretty sure are one of the heaviest, if not the heaviest, tire on the market, and had no issues.

Goodyear MTR Kevlar, no body lift. Go big or go home right? Hahaha it's gonna be a lot of cutting

From the picture in one of your previous posts it looked like you were running the toytec boss kit & was wondering which front & rear springs you had? Not sure if I missed it but didn't see anything mentioned about it when I read through your build.

Weather permitting I am going to be painting the calipers pretty similar to Brembo Gold this weekend. Just need to find a way to get these tires off the ground in my driveway.

That's going to look good!

It is the BOSS coilovers up front and the Superflex coils in the rear. I need to do some work on the first post of this thread and give some more information.

Nice. The superflex were one of a couple different rear coils i've been looking into. Not sure if you were planning on adding this info later but thought I'd dig into your build a bit for some extra info...

-What's your hub to fender measurements in the front & rear?

-Any tips or issues when you installed your 2inch body lift? Spare tire access still pretty easy?

-Are you running any other suspension components (adjustable panhard/panhard drop, extended bump stops, aftermarket uca's, etc.)?

Swatches came in yesterday. I am in no rush deciding but wanted to throw these up so I can get your thoughts.

Don't think you could go wrong with either but if I had to choose one, I may give the coral red the slight edge.

It's was great getting to see the truck in person. I guess I'm not the only tricked out black 4Runner in these parts anymore.

I really digged the sound of the snorkel. Very badass.

I still try to baby this thing, but sometimes you've gotta let these things reconnect with their natural habitat.

Went out to Corral Canyon OHV park yesterday for some wheeling and mountain biking. Great time!!

4Runners look best a little dirty haha. Is that a flag magnet or sticker on the fender? I like it. I've got a magnet on my rear bumper covering up a ding from a hit and run...
