MillerPKA's Build Thread

Sliders and armor are staying off until I finish my degree, until then they're unnecessary weight. When the engine swap and sfa go on after graduation they'll be installed

Oh gotcha. You should keep the stock 3.4 in there though, just to see how long it will go for..No point in changing them if the 3.4 is fine.
What motor though?

I may, depends on what makes more sense at the time. Either a Lexus 4.0 v8 or just supercharge a low mileage 5vz

dang man absolutely beautiful truck. I've got the blacked out thing goin on too but it's a lil fella compared to yours. Thanks for givin me an idea what it can look like (dont worry it will be different :) lol I love the rack, are you going to mount any lights up there or can you?

Yeah the rack has 6 light mounts, 4 in the front and 2 in the rear. at 150 a pair I don't need them on right now but I'm getting the small PIAAs. Best part is they prerun the light wires inside the tubing and have them exiting in the rear through a rubber grommet, top notch design

Spending the day painting the trim its final color. With the paint that we're using we decided to do a little extra. after years of abuse the paint around the side steps is all messed up so i decided to finish off the last frontier of blacking out the truck. the last coats are drying now and its looking teflon coated. i'm sure this stuff will hold up, don't mind touching up from time to time though

Had a shoot today down in Savannah and almost didn't drive her away from it. It ended up snowing 2-3 around this area for the first time in 15 years and it brought worse flooding than I projected. Luckily I managed to pull the engine and tranny out before I lost traction and stalled. Had to jump start the starter and got her barely running to assist in the pull out. She got better back on hard ground and we were able to get a little more out of the shoot. Next one I just can't mix business with pleasure as much, and at 221k now I don't think my engines begging for another run so soon :)

Check out Bushwacker and Gobi online soon for the highlights of the shoot!

Sorry to hear about the trouble, but that sure looks like a lot of fun out there...do you do those trips anywhere near Ft. Stewart off I-95 or are you off I-16 somewhere?

great pics Wes!
I freakin' love your truck

but with that mileage, try and take it easy out there...almost ended up like ShawnStCyr haha

That was Hutchinson island and racetrack. Its directly off of the Savannah bridge, very accessible.

I know she's outside right now drying out I'm about to gut the engine bay and start cleaning piece by piece, not to mention help clean my roommates and help fix up Blake's. Tis going to be a long day, still have to find time to buy and cook dinner for the lady friend :bigok:

hey Wes, do you ever flex those giant 35's enough to rub inside the fender? I rub like crazy at full flex and I'm only on 33x11.50's

hey how did this happen?

i was checking out your profile on the other forum of which we do not speak, lol

i'm trying to get a good idea of how the arb looks on a '99

i realy really like the looks of the shrockworks but who the heck wants to wait 2 months?

Haha that was when I was pledging, we secured a car for 'bash a car for a buck' and to get out of some of the tailgating duties i went up and crushed the dashboard and that picture was taken on the way down when I got to see the damage when I crushed in the front light, it took the whole area out.
